The ambience of the intimate restaurant nestled in the redwoods is hard to beat. I love making a reservation here for a celebration or special occasion. Anything off the targeted dining menu or cocktail list is delicious, last night’s braised short ribs, pork loin, and mussels were cooked and served perfectly, and the hospitality of the friendly staff is second to none. Absolutely love this spot.

Came in on their first week of reopening. Overall the food was good, not blown away, but solidly good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We waited a bit for our reserved table (last group hadn’t left), but enjoyed the bar and drinks. I had to share the drink order 3 times (maybe don’t have long cutesy names that are hard for bartender to remember). Server was very helpful and engaging. It was a VERY long time before we even got the bread and butter we had order let alone other starters. Seeing that they knew we had checked in for a long time prior, it would have been nice to have something to graze on during that the last time. I’m going to assume they are working out some bumps. They did share that they are looking for staffing. Willing to try again.

I was there for my birthday and it was the best experience of having a dinner at a restaurant in the USA by far. Atmosphere and the view is awesome 360 view of nature. Food was great (I had Venison) and the highlight of the night was Sebastian. He was the most professional and nice waiter I have ever met. Explaining the menu in detail, make you feel welcome, and the surprise for birthday which was singing a song in Persian! That made my day. Thank you Sebastian. I wish I could give you thousands of stars not only 5.

Good food, admittedly a bit pricey. The staff was friendly, but not on par for the price point. Small things like the food being served before our drinks, and they generally didn’t seem super attentive. What really threw me off was the 20% mandatory tip applied to our table for two. Also, $8 for water seems a bit excessive. All in all, it was an okay experience.

We were eager to check it out under new ownership. Overall, the food was very good, but not as exceptional as we hoped. Agree with the other comments about the price and the water (ask for tap). The service was good and yes, there is a 20% tip included no matter what.
