Let me preface this review by saying how much I love this spot. Everytime I’ve been here for my food over the years I’ve had wonderful experiences. This is very very rare for me to give a 1 star

Ordered burritos online and both times they didn’t put the salsa on the side. This time I checked before I left and asked them for the salsa I ordered. They refused to give me the salsa and said you have to order it. I said I did. After 5 minutes of them arguing with me, I pulled up my receipt and showed them it was on my receipt. Then I got home and my burrito was ripped (photo attached). This place is not worth the headache. Don’t bother.

Prices are way too high for the quantity and quality. On top of that everything is an up charge so your expensive dish can become gold at that point. I have no problem paying good money for quality but I can’t stand paying to much for substandard and mediocre fare. It’s a glorified Chipotle at double the price. Also try their horchata, it’s completely watered down. What a joke.

The food is great here. It was a bit of a downer that the lady behind the register wouldn’t acknowlege that the kids quesadilla meal comes with a side, a drink, and chips. She kept saying the chips were not included, but the menu on the wall right behnind us clearly says they are.

Customer service was terrible. I ordered nachos to share with my child and they wanted to charge me for salsa. About a tablespoons of guac. Menu said I could choose between queso or shredded cheese. He never asked he just put shredded. He was so bothered to help was actually kinda rude.

$30 for a burrito that had more beans and sauce then anything else. Very little meat. A bowl of rice, beans and chicken with a ton of cheese and tsp of brown guacamole. I want my money back! Some customers on the table next to us were writing a bad review about the tbsp of meat they got too. What a rip off!

I love cafe Rio food and I have been to dozens of them across the country. This location by far is the SLOWEST out of all I’ve eaten at. They need to speed things up. It shouldn’t take 45 minutes to get my food when there are only 10 people in line. Other than that its great food.

They made their tortillas fresh. So yummy! All their entrees are a good size serving. Their self serve drinks are delicious, especially the horchata and mint limeade.

I’ve been coming here for years. Employees have always been so nice but Rupert is so rude! Last time I came he was rude as well, this is now the second encounter. My daughter asked for an extra lime and he mumbled something under his breath. I’m so disappointed because I am now done coming to this location!
