The door said they closed at 8pm. We went in at 6:30pm yesterday and were treated like we were a bother to the staff for ordering food. All of the chairs and tables were up, so we had to eat in the car. Staff was rude, and the chicken was dry and not appetizing. Mac and cheese was cold. Will not be returning

The chicken was dry as all out doors and the 3 pieces were hard and burnt but I got past that I give it 2 stars because it was quick and it wasn’t the worst I’ve had and it’s not worth the 12$ more like 7$ I liked the croutons and the dressing and my lettuce wasn’t wilted thank goodness

I’m from Flint but don’t live there anymore and every time I come up I usually stop at yayas because I love it. Last couple of times I have not been pleased. My last order was wrong and I didn’t know it until I got home. Then today I knew to check the order and I’m glad I did because they forgot the Mac and cheese I ordered. I paid 2.29 for a scoop of mac and cheese that literally was like 4 bites. I have no problem paying for what I want but that was not worth my money. The same gentleman packed my order last time and he doesn’t pay attention. If he can’t remember what he should be making then the cashier needs to be handing him the ticket.

Well it’s been a long time, but the quality is just abysmal. I had the chicken Cesar. Meat used to be warm, tender, and moist. This time it was dry and some inedible. The lettuce was wilted and several signs of having been frozen. Portion for large used to be good for 2 people, now it’s a nice size for one. Also the counter service was not pleasant. The employees had their own jokes going and never once showed any consumer appreciation. That’s not what I remember. Yaya’s was a really good place to buy decent food at a premium take out price, but well worth it. I’ll try the Midland location and see if it’s the same. But so sad to see this.
