Also to the beautiful lady Alexis the Host she was very sweet and it’s hard to come by now days when looked down upon as homeless when on a bike or scooter this place was absolutely a place I will come back too and try the food enjoyable place . I have not dined in yet. If you’re looking for close to authentic besides your own home cooked Mexican meal and in Citrus Heights. This is the place! Just moved to this side of town. I was having a hard time finding a restaurant close to my cooking because i didn’t feel like cooking. Lol. This place is more than pretty good!

El Gallo, the restaurant food is 2nd to none its excellent, the staff is super friendly extra helpful they’re always there to satisfy the customer. I highly recommend this Mexican food restaurant compared to many others. And I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican restaurants, so trust me when I say it’s good. Also, try the black bean dip it’s fantastic.

I am always on the hunt for great Mexican food for a good price. The chip, salsa and bean dip were fantastic. The enchilada suiza was good but small for the price. The waiter forgot to ask what type of beans I wanted and I was disappointed when I got the regular refried. The enchilada de mole wasn’t tasty, the sauce was nasty and tasted like bbq sauce. The place was clean and very nice inside with plenty of sanitizing stations. They also have nice seating outdoors under a tent. Definitely not a lunch place, too pricey for that. Dinner might be whole other story.
