Love this place.great choices of good southern food.not many places offer frog legs. They do them right here. Service is excellent and prices comparable to other restaurants. Clean bathroom too.

A quaint shed right off the road with a small community feel. The menu had lots of options but our waitress was quick to tell us first-timers the crowd favorites. Their food tasted very homemade and could definitely be classified as comfort food. If you like bbq or fish that tastes like dad used to make, this place is worth the stop.

I wouldn’t want you to come in here and expect something fake and glitzy because this is just an original great roadside pit BBQ offering up a fair price and delicious sandwich. I should have gotten some sauce on the side and I’m still thinking about the pies on display, not leaving there again without at least one dessert

This little restaurant is amazing. I loved the small town feel. The food was definitely made with “love”. I will be returning on my next travels through Illinois. I had the BBQ and Rib plate. It was delicious. Lemon meringue pie was homemade and perfect!

After visiting a local business I stopped in for a Friday evening dinner. Was expecting better than average BBQ especially from a small family diner. Service was slow for a light Friday crowd, food was really not that good, and tables were left uncleaned long after past customers departed.
