Wait staff were great. Food was great- especially the chicken and dumplings as an appetizer- a wonderful choice. We arrived after 7pm- should have been there sooner to have the country fried chicken or the meatloaf- they were sold out of those choices. Love all their side choices aka Fixin’s. Now we MUST go for the meatloaf or country fried. Thank you for feeding us . See you soon.

Food was delicious, our waitress was very nice and made sure everything was perfect… the cook even made sure our food was perfect. Would give 5 stars but the place needs a little TLC, the bathroom was freezing and has a hole in the wall.

My son and I had an amazing breakfast. Large portions. Food was delicious and hot. I had the breakfast skillet & it was absolutely amazing, biscuits were so buttery tasting. Everything was cooked to perfection. My son had the confetti pancakes and he loved them even without the syrup and that speaks a lot he’s a picky eater. Thank you for the amazing food and hospitality. We will definitely be back.

The owners are welcoming the moment you step through the door. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, very CLEAN, and welcoming. You can see and feel the fact that they’ve put a lot of hardwork and love into the remodeling and decorating. Each meal has been great, my favorite dish so far has been the pinto bean soup, it’s homemade and yummy! They have some of the best coffee ever, and it’s local! I look forward to returning for good homemade food

Fried pickles were so good and the barbecue ranch we got with it!! He got the pinto beans fried taters and cornbread he loved the cornbread enough to get another piece I got the farmhouse breakfast eggs and bacon cooked perfect and my biscuit and gravy was soft and tasted good and they have really good coffee… Atmosphere was quiet and we loved the decor close to home and happy to support a local business.

Ordered grilled chicken and it was just dry and tasteless no seasoning and smaller than the palm of my hand. Probably 3 oz before cooking. We also had a Blt that had bacon that was cold and only about 2 and a half pieces on it and 1 tiny tomato!

My wife and I stopped in to try it out since it was under new ownership and was all the rave for while on Facebook. We came in around late lunch time it was pretty slow in there only us and 2 other tables seated. Staff seems friendly and greets you as you come in. The restaurant itself was freshly painted had some new wood work and trim up front that wasnt there previously. The rest of the restaurant seemed ok a few water stained ceiling tiles and the floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped in a while .We ordered our food and didn’t have to wait too long my wife ordered boneless wings and I tried the homemade meatloaf dinner . She said the wings where really good and flavorful. The meatloaf was pretty good you could tell it was homemade and fresh also the mash potatoes seemed to be real not out the box and the mac n cheese was pretty good as well. We each only had ice water which was fine but weren’t offered and refills and wait staff seemed to be preoccupied with other things on the other side by the front.. after we where done we waited a while to get a check and finally just went up to front register and I guess you check out there and pay without a check. Overall they seek like a nice family restaurant but the could use a bit more professionalism and some customer service training.

First order didn’t have all ingredients in stock so ended up ordering secondary item.Biscuits were hard ,burnt and cold. Gravy taste like it came out of a can. Mozzarella sticks were dripping with grease. Ceiling tiles were nasty looking with old water stains . The only reason I gave it a 1 star was our waitress was really nice. My advice to the new owners is fix the old nasty ceiling tiles. Make your food fresh!

From the moment we walked in we were greeted and seated very quick with the kind of warmth that reminded you of going to Grandma’s house for dinner the atmosphere and smell was delightful you could smell the bacon cooking and there’s a maple in the air that gives it an aroma of warmth. The walls and tables were done up nice to further compliment that farmhouse feel. When the food came we were in awe over not only the portions which were very large but also the quality of the food as we hadn’t had any Grease settling on our food and everything looked natural and fresh. Everything tasted amazing from the cheeseburger and macaroni and cheese to the eggs and bacon sausage ham, the hash browns tasted home shredded and everything just felt good. Our server made us feel warm and welcome from the very first moment she said hello until the check was paid and we were leaving. Trenton has a keeper with this place. When the bill came I actually felt guilty because of how good the food was and the portions for the price that we paid drinks included with tip four different meals and we were out the door in under $40 and under an hour. Hands down best diner in the area. And I am officially hooked thank you to the wait staff Cooks managers and owners for putting together such a fine establishment here in Trenton

Had both eat in and delivery. My waitress was perfect friendly and the food is very good. I’m stuck on cheeseburgers and hard to change order. Lots of different dishes to choose from. The delivery guy is nice and on time.
