Little Italy’s
AUTHENTIC ITALIAN CUISINE
The Genesis of Little Italy began in a different time and a different land during the era of Josie’s Restaurant in a Naples, Italy neighborhood. Gary and his siblings were little more than children, but already struggling with dishes and pans. More than a family, they were united by a common bond; not just by lineage but the same passion for the kitchen the customers and the dining experience.
What we have now created is a culinary experience that is both beautiful and inviting to new customers (and soon to be regulars) of Little Italy’s. You will find a real family – where values, like our food. The dream of this special project has finally materialized. Chef Gary, Luigi and Mario Recupido are

We sat down. Everybody was pleasant. Absolutely nobody else eating there. We were the only customers. that should have been a sign. Then we wanted sausage and pepperoni on a pizza and they said oh we don’t have sausage. That should have been a sign. The waiter was nice. The bartender was wonderful. She fixed two drinks that were delicious. But when the guy brought the pizza out he said I can give you some napkins to soak up the grease. And I’m like oh my lord. Pizza was so full of grease and soggy, soggy, soggy and we said something to him and he said oh we’re sorry our ovens aren’t working properly. Sometimes they’re cold and sometimes they’re hot. But do you think he offered to give us our money back? No.

Good service, average food. The pasta carbonara was heavily peppered with most of the pancetta not crisp as expected. It was nearly OK. Spaghetti and meatballs were barely acceptable. The marinara was good but the meatballs, obviously made in house, were as tough as shoe leather. Someone needs to learn to be gentle when mixing meatballs. These were beaten to death and even the chunks of breading in the mixture did nothing to make them tender.

Incredibly service! Beautiful authentic Italian place. Food is devine, authentic Italian recipes and also Italian atmosphere. Can get little loud, so be aware of that. Drinks are also great, I had a watermelon basil martini and i can tell you its worth the hype. Overall great place for an evening meal and occasional drink.

O.M.L. This food. Mmmm. Literally so good. You definitely get your money’s worth with this food. If your gonna be anywhere near Daytona beach, you have GOT to go here. I promise you won’t regret it. I thought I didn’t like tomatoes but mmmm that bruschetta was soooooo good.

Mozzarella in Carrozza was imported and delicious; it’s good (maybe even better) without the sauce. The Pollo Cacciatore and Salmon Piccata were both just okay. The chicken and the salmon were cooked well but were bland and tasted like they came out of a can. The zucchini and carrots were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The sausage in the cacciatore was good. The Tiramisu was a winner, not the best I’ve ever had but is probably in the top 10%.

My family were headed to a different Italian restaurant not far from this location, but they were closed. Thankfully due to them being closed we found little Italy, what a great break for us. This place is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever experienced. The entire staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of their products. The owner Mario was there, he was super and was interacting with all customers made everyone feel welcome. It was kinda like going to a family members house and eating dinner there.

First of all. Thank you for the food that bought me back home to NY. OMG I’ve been dying to come here. And I was not disappointed. This is the way an Italian restaurant is supposed to be. Good food and workers who work in sync like a team. It was a pleasure speaking to the owner and hearing his story on how he does what he does and keeping the recipes within his family. And being a Yankee fan to is a plus as well. I definitely recommend if your in the Daytona Beach area. Come here to get some good food.

My daughters and I went on a Saturday evening to this quaint restaurant for dinner. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was so tasty and perfectly prepared. I got the spaghetti with meatballs which was wonderful, my daughter got the spaghetti bolognese which was extraordinary in her humble opinion. My other daughter is a vegetarian and has particular tastes. They worked with her to prepare a dish of pasta with her preferred vegetables and Alfredo sauce and she loved it! Highly recommend
