What happened!!!! This place was awesome just a short time ago! Went there today and was looking forward to their food. Like other reviews had mentioned, the chicken tasted like it was fried in oil that had been reused several times. It was very dry and practically inedible. The fries were my fave and they were just as bad. My food was so awful that after a couple bites I threw my entire order in the trash. It is such a disappointment as I raved about this place to anyone that would listen and now it is a hollow shell of what it was. Such a shame. I can say with certainty that my love affair with this place is over and I won’t be returning.

Can’t go wrong with Frickin Fried Miles is a master chef at what he creates! Fried Oreos are delicious, funnel sticks aren’t too sugary just right on the sweetness! The fries are phenomenal and the lumpia and cod are also great to chomp into! Give them a try they won’t disappoint if your looking for fried food!

Visiting from atlanta andI stumbled on this restaurant on accident. I’m sure glad I did! I ordered the lemon pepper wings and garlic fries. It was delicious!! I’m from Atlanta and wings are big but they definitely impressed me. I got the chance to try the spaghetti. A new item on the menu and it was bussin . Customer service is superb.. I don’t get that too often. anytime I’m in town this my go to spot. Thank you Frickin fried!

SOUL FOOD RIGHT HERE IN CONCORD! This place is really extraordinary. All the soul food staples, executed perfectly – fried chicken & fish, macaroni & cheese and greens that could hold their own against any place in Oakland, candied yams that have FLAVOR, not just sweetness! Chef/owner Jamie (sp?) also makes an incredible dish called chicken Alfredo enchilada – a casserole with pasta, the best Alfredo sauce you’ll ever eat, shredded chicken, and green chilis. Sometimes it’s spicy hot, sometimes not; ask if you have a preference. The clam chowder is about the most flavorful I’ve ever had – serenity in a bowl. About the only thing I haven’t tried yet is the gumbo. Given Jamie’s magic in the kitchen, I’m sure that’s amazing too. Then there are the DESSERTS! Fluffy perfect sweet potato pie, light and flavorful banana pudding with lots of vanilla wafers, and a rotating selection of cakes, pies, and other goodies. This is a tiny, very friendly,family-run place that deserves a long run in our little city. Stop in and make your tummy HAPPY!

I anticipate the food by prior reviews. I ordered the fried chicken and was dark brown meaning the oil is old and needed to be changed. If you fry food oil should be changed periodically for the true color of fried chicken. Was horrible.

First time trying after driving by for months. Customer service right off the bat was outstanding. Everyone was so nice. They even gave us samples of their dirty rice and catfish as we waited for our order. We had the chicken, catfish and dirty rice. What can I say…authentic, homemade and delicious comfort food. Feel good, family oriented atmosphere. We will definitely come back for more and recommend it to everyone!
