I saw a review by Kaitlin Jones about over priced items. To be honest I understand the prices, unfortunately economy today is not the best. This place is just awesome as a professional chef I definitely appreciate everything about this place, I will pay the price for fresh food and excellent service. This seems to be a family owned restaurant and the cooks are great, the really put their hearts into the items they cook and also the staff makes sure you are satisfied with the service. New place and I am sure it will stay open for many years. Remember this are the business that we as a community we need to support!

Loved the food. It was amazing, authentic. The minute I walked in, the restaurant smell so good and spicy. I love spicy food. For anyone who does not like spicy food, you can choose non spicy food–just ask. Excellent service.

The food here is amazing, I am glad they decided to open up a Mexican restaurant here in Gainesville. The service is great and they waitresses inform you before hand of what they have available. We just walked out of the restaurant disappointed and without breakfast. First and last visit. Tried to order a breakfast skillet – out of items. Tried to order an omelet – of of items. Tried to order biscuits & gravy with hash browns. No hash browns or gravy. Waitress didn’t bother telling us any of this when we walked in. We paid for the ice tea, that she had already brought to the table, and left. They didn’t offered to not charge us for the tea and $7 for 2 teas was ridiculous. We will NOT be back.

The beef enchiladas were overdone and tasted like they were made with jerky. They were out of avocados, so that was disappointing, and the food was way too spicy (and salty) to be pleasant. I really wanted to like this place, and thought I would, due to other good reviews. I might give them a second try to see if it was an “off” day.

This place is most definitely over priced. One chicken taco is $3.12 and they give you can sodas for $2.85. Spent $9.20 for just 3 dr peppers and one deal of salsa. Never been disappointed in a Mexican restaurant like I am with them. Maybe over time they will lower prices if not they will barely get service there.
