I was disappointed given the other reviews, we thought we would try since we’ve never stayed in Shelby. The service was great and the atmosphere, although eclectic, was welcoming. Breakfast offerings were plentiful but basic. I grew up in the mountains so gravy is a thing for me and their gravy tasted like maybe the grease was old.

What a find! Modest, country abode with ample room for the crowds…and they do get a crowd. Super friendly, attentive and efficient. Wide selection of options. Pancakes, omelets available in variety to suit your tastes plus great lunch options.

Cold breakfast served with cold biscuits (VERY cold) and no butter! Waitress very quickly brought out a very cold breakfast (weird) and she very quickly scrammed off (hmm)! We waited and waited far too long for her to return just to request (and too long to receive) old rancid tasting margarine to put onto cold, hard factory made biscuits! No real butter available anywhere in this place! Skimpy and cold portion of home fries to boot! Also noted the carpeted flooring in this place indicating they prefer to not mop the dining area floors. Should have known better… won’t return there!

Great place to eat, food , service was excellent !! The only problem is they are only open till 2pm. They have a lunch buffet , but we were there for breakfast. Recommend the place 5 .
