We lucked out traveling through Hamilton on our cross country trip. Stopped at Elders Tacos and Steak. Food was excellent, including the Flan. All six of us enjoyed everything we had. Owner and his wife are the nicest people. It’s a must try.

Terrible. Will not be eating here again. The food was very greasy and tasted like it had no seasoning whatsoever. I ordered hot wings as an appetizer and they had barely any sauce on them there was some that had no sauce at all. I brought them home and let my Girlfriend try them and she took one bite and said they were “One of the worst wings she has ever ate.” Plus my sweet tea tasted dusty. It wasn’t sweet at all. And don’t get me started about how they charge for chips and salsa. I honestly don’t see why someone would want to eat here when you have plenty of other Mexican places to choose from like Los Amigos or The Cantina. I’m only giving one star because I couldn’t give none.

It was good, not as authentic as the taqueria I like in town, birria sauce wasn’t quite right. Tamales didn’t do it for me. But the food wasn’t poorly prepared or anything, and the price for the portions was good.

Oh my! What a fantastic find. Sometimes you just go where the wind takes you. I’m glad the wind was blowing in Hamilton’s direction that day. We each had the birria and a papposa. The sauce with the birria was to die for. Nice selection of unique South-of-the-border treats and sodas The papposa were both on the same plate which made the toppings hard to share, but that was its only downfall.
