Do you like Mexican restaurants? Do you enjoy authentic food? Are you in/near Wilson, NC? Then this is the place to go. It’s the first Mexican restaurant I’ve found in a long time with lengua and lamb. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. Very no icwly done. The Italian margarita was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place!

Unfortunately not a good experience for us. The food was mediocre and we consistently felt rushed and if not rushed, we were always met with a defensive attitude. When we were checking out, she shorted my mother her change. When my mother asked for it the lady’s response was “you want your change!???” Like she couldn’t believe it. She should have let her keep her .29 cents and we take back the tip that was left on the table. Another example of customer service going down the drain. And yes, it was a grand total of maybe 2/3 tables total in restaurant.

I’ve been there twice, and I figured after first experience I just had bad timing, so I returned with my daughter and 3 grandchildren. Food was fine both times. Service was nonexistent. Both visits were over an hour and both during slow business hours. Servers seemed unconcerned with taking the order, no drink refills, asked for more chips, babies were hungry it took over a half hour to get plates and one didn’t arrive till everyone else was done eating. My daughter and I both work in the service industry, and we will not be back. I had to find them to get my check. My daughter got kids in car seats and car running before I could get the check to pay. We were there an hour and 15 minutes, at 2 in the afternoon. Ridiculous. The first time I was there was at 4 before dinner rush, alone, so serving 1 person. There were maybe 4 tables in the whole place, 2 servers, and I was there over an hour as well. Terrible service!

Wonderful place! Clean restaurant! Great food and well spaced comfortable booths. Friendly servers with genuine and sincere desire to provide great service. The music is usually just a little bit louder than I would prefer but everything else is so good it’s not that difficult to put up with the volume. We will definitely be visiting again often.
