I stopped in at Crave Subs when I was really hungry, having skipped lunch to usher at Berkeley Rep. I ordered a Bart Simpson, and it came pretty quickly. It was absolutely delicious. Great barbecued chicken with lettuce on a yummy Dutch crunch roll. It was actually big enough for me to make two lunches out of it.

Just know of you get a full sized sandwich, it’s enough for 3-4 meals for one person. Finally some good halal food in Berkeley. The employees are so sweet as well, and when I brought my siblings, the man at the coffee bar offered them waffles. Really enjoy the sandwiches, stuffed fries, and the atmosphere whenever we go!

Love crave subs! Their sandwiches are delicious. I usually get subs for friends before going hiking. They used to have smaller sizes which used to be perfect to take for lunch on a hike or picnic, but they’ve adjusted their menu and selection. The meats are not only tasty, but halal, which adheres to Islamic guidelines. I usually enjoy the pastrami sandwich combo, but you can’t go wrong with any of them. I hope they open up more shops, hopefully in Oakland next!!

Great sandwiches at great prices. While $15~25 (for large) doesn’t sound that cheap, the amount of food you get is absolutely immense (smaller eaters might find it enough for two whole days), and quite tasty as well.

Most coffee places in Downtown, Berkeley were closed but thankfully we got to this place. They serve good flavors in the hot coffee, mine has a sweet caramel taste ☺️Plus sandwiches taste awesome! Coffee barista is very friendly too! We’ll definitely come back!

The most amazing subs I’ve ever had! This place never disappoints. The sandwiches are always bursting with toppings and flavor. One regular sub is a hearty helping of food that never leaves me feeling unsatisfied. Just dropped in here for my first time and OMG am I blown away. Got the regular “Bart Simpson” from the “Cravin’ on a budget menu”. Not only was it amazing, but HOLY COW has it become hard to find food that’s both good and filling when funds and time are tight. This hit every mark for me. Best of all, they throw our local students some love with “Meatless Mondays”, I believe it was something like 15% off of veg items. Whatever the case, this isn’t just a really good restaurant with good people and good food. This is a legitimate RESOURCE our community needs. Y’all get out there and support support support them so they can keep these good deals going!
