As far as a seafood boil goes, this place is pretty good but way over priced compared to some other mom and pop places in town. $12 a pound for crawfish (even during the season) is crazy considering it’s about half that everywhere else and who eats just one pound of mud bugs? I had to try a little of everything and I would go back for the black mussels, clams, and scallops all day. They really absorbed the tasty spicy red pier seasoning. As far as the shrimp, it wasn’t anything to write home about, not too flavorful like the other stuff. The crab legs tasted like any others really so $18 for a 1/2 lb of legs isn’t worth it honestly. The corn and taters are definitely appreciated though seeing how some places you have to order those ala cart. The atmosphere is really fun, spacious and has a nice bar area.

The service was good but the food not so much. We ordered snow crabs and shrimp with Cajun flavoring, steamed oysters and calamari. The Cajun flavored seafood did not taste like Cajun at all. The sauce was very salty and oily. The steamed oysters tasted very fishy. The calamari was the best out of all the things we ordered. But the crispy coating was still too oily and salty. We had to scrape off the coatings in order to eat. Considering that we spent 40 dollars per person plus tip, it’s not worth it.

This was only thing opened except for Red Lobster next door. The menu is VERY limited. They don’t have certain seafood items that you would expect at a seafood restaurant. The food was descent. Pricey for what you do get

I got the fried catfish which was a mistake the catfish wasn’t very good however I ordered the seafood special for my son and it was very good! I asked my waiter what he recommended for a start and he said the fried gator was delicious and it sure was! Izzy was awesome he was very knowledgeable about the menu and was great at checking up on us. A must try place to go just don’t order the fried catfish, and if you get Izzy just know you are in good hands!

Went the for the first time last night. I got the headless Shrimp with cajun and garlic seasoning in hot heat and added sausage. My friend got the snow Crab. The potatoes I would had preferred to be softer. The Crab had a very fishy flavor that I don’t get when I cook them at home, so I wasn’t sure if that was alarming or not. I believe they use oil instead of butter because it tastes oily and the leftovers have been in the fridge overnight and it’s funny. Butter would had hardened. Overall, I’m glad to have this restaurant as an option but i can do my own seafood boil and my shrimp will be more tender, my Crab won’t taste fake, and my potatoes will be softer. I didn’t get to try their adult beverages because I had to work, but I intend on giving them another shot and trying their drinks. Waitress was new, Noel, and she was friendly, no issues with service nor cleanliness. I’ll update this review once we visit again.

Walked in at 10:30pm. They close at 11pm on Saturdays. Asian gentleman in cut off shirt and basketball shorts pulls out his phone and looks at a lady behind the register. She says “He wants you to know that it’s 10:30 and I can only do to go orders only. All this was done without an initial greeting of any sort. Not even a smile before the conversation started. I was here on the soft opening and this was not the service or atmosphere I experienced times before. New owners/management??

Im sad this review isn’t rated higher, but I need to be honest. Today me and my family went in for an early mother’s day dinner. Now I had no price limit for anyone since I wanted them to enjoy their time. The waitress who served us was really sweet and was great at her job. The problem was the food…..we ordered hot and extra hot…. nothing was hot….ordered Cajun seasoning and nothing tasted like home. Nothing reminded us of New Orleans despite the restaurant being Cajun based seafood. The seasoning was on the shell of our lobster and crab, making it obvious the food isn’t boiled in the seasoning. My sauce had a strange taste, I strange hit of lemon. Then I often felt dirt in my mouth which let me know they didn’t clean the crawfish. Which is a MUST. The waitress did ask the first time if the food was amazing, none of us answered then she asked if the portions were big, which we then responded with yes. But to sum up the food, overcooked, shell is the only flavorful thing. Now lastly. The bill, I paid $425.54 for this entire meal….I didn’t want to pay that but I did since we did eat the food in hopes of enjoying it. However, what was a disappointment was seeing the waitress signal 0 to the other wait staff because I didn’t leave a tip. I heard mumbling and laughing and I knew it was about us. I was disappointed because I don’t tip off card, but I do tip in cash. Seeing that display disgusted me. All in all the food was not good, I will not be back. If I could refund this I WOULD! I would also like the wait staff to know if you’re going to trash the customers for not tipping at least don’t do it out in the open!

I wish I had taken pictures! The food was great! I had the headless shrimp, potatoes, corn and added a lobster tail. Everything was so nice, the atmosphere, decor and our waitress was so much fun! We have a tendency to be silly and she was a great fit lol I will definitely keep coming back!
