The food is incredible here. I can understand why there sandwhiches are voted best in Big Bear. Quality food and service. The server took great care of me, even when i order a small she made it a big order for the pancakes. I forgot her name but she needs a raise!

Beyond impressed with this family owned spot. Traveling from out of town and thought we’d give it a try. I don’t frequently diners often as I eat vegetarian and am pretty picky – but WOW! this place was delicious. my veggie burger had avocado, onion, pickle, lettuce. it was so fresh. and the fries were awesome. we’ll be back!

Was going to stop at the “Jersey” place, but saw this right behind it. Window sign said “Best Sandwiches in Big Bear” and they did not disappoint! Had the Toboggan (pastrami) and it was delicious. Roll was fresh and piled with pastrami (only ate half). Found my new favorite place to eat after a MTB ride.

Maybe this place is better for lunch, but the breakfast was so bad. My wife had the pancakes and eggs, but they had no flavor. I had the French toast and it was probably the worst I’ve ever tasted. I mean, how do you mess up French toast? Hash browns were the same with not a lot of flavor. The Asian lady that served us was not that friendly, and treated us like a number. Again, maybe the lunch items are good, but would never go back there for breakfast.

Window read “Voted best sandwiches on the mountain” & as we walked in I chuckled, “that’s a tall claim…” They weren’t wrong. Best pastrami (corned beef and beef summer sausage) sandwich I have ever had. In. My. Life. Prices were cheap, food and services were 10’s across the board. Will return and definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic. I’ve never written a review before on anything before but I feel obligated to write one due to the amazing dinner with huge portions and very affordable prices. I have a rule where I have to eat a Ruben at every restaurant that has it on their menu and I can say with confidence that took my top spot from Jason’s deli which has reign undefeated for many many years. I highly recommend this place without a shadow of a doubt.

We went up to Big Bear from Palm Springs California because we love the snow and it we saw it was going to snow, I’m originally from Oregon and get home sick in the desert and Big Bear reminds me of home a lot, and we found this restaurant close to the grocery store we were at and I’m so glad we found it. We ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken strips, fries and biscuits and gravy, the food was delicious. I will be returning.
