I was hoping this place had some incredible subs, but I honestly wasn’t impressed. The Philly Chicken I got was super dry. It was difficult to eat. I also tried the Guava Mama, and I felt the meat tasted too greasy and the type of guava sauce didn’t compliment it well at all. If they used a better sauce, almost like a guava barbecue style and mixed it into the meat it could have been amazing, but the sub unfortunately was not great.

Came in for lunch wine a good reasonably priced delicious sub, and that’s exactly what I got. Had the elevated state sandwich, and it was well worth it. Also, they use boar’s head meat which is good to know. Staff was friendly enough and everything look organized and clean in the restaurant, definitely swing by and give them a try.

If you are looking for a great bite in the sunset area, stop in to POPs Subs. Great variety, great quality ingredients and awesome hospitality. Hidden gem for lunch, if you haven’t come to try one of their sandwiches or salads you are missing out. POPs grinder sandwich was 10 stars.

Earl provided excellent customer service. Was greeted with a smile. All my questions about the different subs I was interested in were answered. Went with the Philly Cheese Steak the “Pop’s Way” as was recommended. Great tasting sub. I truly enjoyed it. My drive home was about 15 minutes and the sub was still very hot. Great job packing it. Overall, great service and good taste. Will be going back to try their breakfast sandwiches.

Delicious! This place hit the spot! My office wanted to try a new place for lunch this week, we decided on Pop’s Subs and I’m so glad we did! Some of my colleagues ordered salads, some subs, I ordered the guava mama sub and it was delicious! Ingredients were fresh, portions were just right! This sub shop has delicious specialty subs with unique ingredients. Looking forward to ordering again!

My first time here and I tried to order the Philly but they don’t have steak. I opted for the Pop’s Special but they don’t have Russian dressing. I went with the wicked roast beef and it’s a small, cold, basic sandwich… nothing special, not worth it. Don’t come here thinking you can sit for lunch. They have space for tables and chairs but don’t have any so I was forced to eat in my car. Employees said I could take my food to Starbucks and sit over there. I’m sure they wouldn’t appreciate that. I love a good sub and sandwich, but this place disappoints. Sorry to say unless there are changes, it won’t last.

we ordered from them for the 1st and last time. Their sandwiches are very small compared to competitors and not worth the prices they charge. we ordered a steak sandwich the steak was very tough, there was no cheese on it, no may on as ordered and the topping left more to the imagination very skimpy. I was going was going to leave while watching them make the sandwich but I had already paid for it on line.
