My wife and I stopped by Wayno’s at the lunchtime live event at the old post office plaza, and we grabbed some Jamaican Pineapple Chicken Tacos and the Quesabirria Tacos. Despite the long lines, they got our orders out really fast. Their service was great, and I will be back to try some of the other dishes.

We are concerned by our recent experience with Wayno’s. We booked them for a music festival and they started serving 30 minutes late. They also had no vegetarian entree, even though that had been part of our requirements. We were promised falafel, but they said they had no vegetarian option because they were short staffed. After discussion, they came up with a cheese quesadilla, as a substitute. Later, the owner called to say they had not been able to purchase falafel that afternoon. He apologized, but had no alternatives. In part, due to the late start and lack of vegetarian options, sales were slow and the festival had to cover the majority of the guarantee. When we wrote Wayno’s to ask to have a discussion about this, our request was ignored. The food was adequate at best. We do not recommend Wayno’s and will not work with them again.

Omg if I could rate this place it would have no stars. We were at a church event for the Fourth of July and their food truck was there. Not only did I stand in like for over 30 mins but when I got to the window I literally ordered 2 nachos and 2 fries because what I originally wanted they ran out of and you would think that wouldn’t take long but my God it did. It took literally over 50 mins and not only did it take long the two girls at the window were extremely rude and when I asked for a refund since I never got my food she lied and said I received a refund when in fact I did not because I called my bank to verify that I did but noooo I didn’t. So not only did she charge me damn near $50 for two nachos and two fries, they didn’t have what I wanted because they ran out of food and they stole money out of my account by not giving me the refund they lied and said I got. The girl cooking was cussing everybody out because people were asking for their money back because they had been waiting longer than I was which I don’t blame them for. I would never attempt to eat here again

It’s such a shame (and a total unforced error on their part) that Wayno’s has to be rated so poorly again and again due to their AWFUL customer service, because their food is really good. Nonetheless, the extremely rude staff, ridiculous wait times for food (I waited 25 minutes out of my 30 minute work lunch for a small falafel plate!) and lack of reliability to SHOW UP when they’re scheduled makes them a no-go in my book, regardless of how good the food is.

I wish I could give this a Zero but 1 star it is. The lady had the WORST attitude ever and I would highly recommend avoiding this food truck at all cost. The food was decent but a long wait time. The 2 workers on the truck got into an altercation with each other. Extremely unprofessional behavior!

Cook had a freak out and stated he was done and spit out the back door. Woman ringing us up clearly wanted to be anywhere else but there too. Disappointing. Food wasn’t even warm either. Love 9 mile but will be avoiding this truck from now on

First falafel I had ever eaten, I’m now a fan for life, the hint of lime in the hummus made it perfection. Best food I’ve eaten at 6 flags. If you don’t count the turkey legs.
