I feel like food court tacos should not be the best tacos I’ve had in Eau Claire, but they are! I still have a few places to try, but these are solidly tasty and I would have them again (unlike the other 3 places I’ve tried here). My only complaint would be that they’re overly salty, but this is pretty consistently the case here so maybe that’s just a local preference.

I believe this is a new addition to the Oakwood Mall food court. This is my first time experience with Plaza Aztecca and I was very satisfied with the friendly service and food. I got the carnitas tacos and it was on point! I hope Plaza Aztecca stays for awhile because the food is legit!

I got the carnitas, steak and cactus tacos. Very impressed with the carnitas, so good! The steak taco was excellent as well. I couldn’t finish the cactus it’s just not my thing. If you can handle spicy ask for the habanero sauce. Would come back again for the steak and carnitas and probs will try the chorizo as well.

It was so good I that ate half of it before taking a picture. The soda fountain wasn’t working so they graciously swapped it out for a glass bottle, which is better anyway. (Try the chorizo chimichanga)

Fresh authentic Mexican food!! Been here a couple of times and ordered the same thing, steak street tacos! The steak is not fatty and tastes super good! I will continue to go back! Glad they replaced Taco Johns with this place!

Got the chips and queso, and the steak fries. Very impressed with both. The chips were fresh and still warm which I loved! And the fries were so good. The queso is amazing here! Highly recommend. Very quick service and great quality food.

I got the chicken street tacos and my son had a steak burrito. We also split an order of chips and queso. Everything was fresh and delicious. Portions were very large. Will be my go to place to eat in the mall.
