We came to the keys because of their black bean burger, and came back the next day because it’s the only meatless burger in town. It was really good!! The fries were also fantastic. My partner got the tacos one day and got the blackened chicken grilled cheese. We also tried some drinks which included reusable cups. Everything was amazing and that’s why we keep going back! Staff have also been very kind about checking ingredients as necessary to make sure things are vegan for me. Id love it if they got more vegan options as they end up attracting vegetarians and vegans with their black bean burger, but I’m already so happy with them for being my only food option on the island.

I went twice, two years apart. The atmosphere is a really great on-the-lake experience. They had live musicians playing during lunch, which was a definite plus. I got the daily special-a Carribean-jerk grilled cheese (I think it was $16. Pic included) – It was fairly bland. I also tasted some of the breaded perch and thought that was perfect. They have a pretty big menu, so I feel comfortable saying it’s a lot of typical freezer-to-fryer fare. Servers were very friendly and helpful, but both times I have been there, it took a painfully long time. Price was about what I would expect for the atmosphere, but nothing else about the experience was all that stellar.

The fish sandwich was fantastic and huge, but also $30 which I probably wouldn’t have ordered if the price was posted instead of “seasonal prices” but seriously probably the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had and the onion rings were also amazing! Service was friendly and attentive. Live music was also good. Overall a good spot but pricey for regular food. We were in for over $60 for a fish sandwich, 2 tacos, and 2 drinks.

Super menu. Food is delicious. For vegetarian, black bean burger with a side of rice and beans, sweet potato fries is great. Their chicken soup is good too. Great service. Outdoor seating is pleasant except for the fact that could see few water snakes. Nice ambience. Neat restrooms.
