You have to go to this restaurant if you are in Monterey! Chose outdoor seating, view is so nice. Service people are professional and nice. Cocktails and food are delicious and elegant. From appetizers to deserts, all details can reach to fine dining level, I love it.

Stokes Adobe in is a must-visit restaurant for those who appreciate delicious food and a great atmosphere. The standout items for me are the crispy potatoes and pear margarita, both of which are outstanding and highly recommended. The historic building adds to the ambiance and makes for a memorable dining experience. Overall, Stokes Adobe is a fantastic restaurant that should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Monterey.

Beautiful restaurant, very attentive service and amazing food – what’s not to like. The butternut squash soup was very tasty with unique tartiness that I have not had before. The bread was super soft, perfectly charred and melted in my mouth with butter. The vegetarian entree options were flavorful. Their mocktails were very refreshing.

Had dinner here for Father’s Day and it was a phenomenal experience. Every dish was flavorful; the wine was spectacular. The Cab Franc is on the pricy side at $90 but well worth it. My favorite had to be the Australian wagyu.

Just walking into this place is a treat. It’s an old historic adobe. The seating a ambiance is very tasteful. The menus is very diverse depending on your taste buds. Service is excellent and friendly. I highly recommend this place for groups.

This was the best dinner I’ve had in a long long time! All portions were perfect size, the food was amazing and drinks were good too. Great ambiance as well. Our server Megan recommended appetizers and desserts and all of her suggestions were on point! We will definitely be back!

Came back almost a year later, the food quality and service are still excellent. Came with a larger group of 7 and was able to snag the private dinning room for a more intimate dining experience which can be requested with a call ahead if available, best bet is on a weekday.

We had dinner at Stokes Adobe. We ordered ahi tuna tartare the fish is not that good it’s fishy. I ate the truffle chicken in my opinion costco’s chicken is better than this truffle chicken. My husband ordered duck confit there’s only one tone to the taste of this dish it’s sweet. My daughter has the Australian wagyu bavette it only had 4 slices of beef but in the picture it had 6 but the taste is okay I had better.

Historic home turned restaurant in a beautiful way. Very welcoming feel from the moment you walk in the door. Multiple rooms for seating create an intimate and quaint feel. Lovely banquet room on the second floor with an open patio. Interesting restrooms but they totally work. Don’t forget to ask the host the legend of the house’s previous owners!
