This was my first time trying African food and it was very good. A little spicy, but it’s that good spicy that keeps you taking one bite after another. I will definitely go back and try another dish.

I had the djollof rice. Chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender. The rice was great (not mushy or too oily). Definitely get the hot sauce if you like spicy, or even if you don’t–it’s fruity, acidic, complements the dish well, and isn’t too spicy to the point where you can’t taste anything else (ymmv). Definitely recommend.

The best African food! This is senegalese food, the lovely food of Senegal! I am never disappointed. The people are lovely here and are happy to tell you about their food. I recommend teaching yourself about their menu before ordering so you dont miss out on anything especially delicious. A favorite of mine is their Okra Soup with foufou (pounded, fermented yam and plantain). Be sure to eat the fufu with your hands and dip it in the soup! I also love their Bissap juice which is like a sweet, hibiscus-mint juice.

The velvety smooth fufu, silky texture from the okra and rich earthy flavor from the palm oil, was a delight. Okra soup and fufu is what’s pictured. Thankful we have a new restaurant in Greensboro which happens to be cuisine from Africa. Long overdue. Can’t wait to go back and try more. Picture doesn’t do Justice.

10/10. This place made me want to buy a plane ticket to travel to Senegalese just to eat their food…it was that finger licking good. The people were also very nice. The pineapple ginger is really good.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Saint Louis Saveurs, a new and one-of-a-kind restaurant in my neighborhood that serves Senegalese African cuisine. This family owned and operated restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff who immediately make you feel at home. I had the Avocado Sandwich, which was a vegetarian option, and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was served with a side of their house-made hot sauce, which was amazing. My partner had the Chicken Sandwich and couldn’t stop raving about how flavorful and tender the chicken was. The food was expertly prepared with a great presentation, and the portion sizes were just right. The chef even called me to confirm how I wanted my food prepared, and gave me a detailed rundown on how they cook and use their ingredients while I was picking up the order. It’s the uniqueness, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food and quality for me. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something different and delightfully flavorful in Greensboro.

Absolutely delicious!! It was my first time trying Senegalese food and they were super kind and helpful. The djolof rice was a great sized portion and awesome! Also got their homemade ginger drink and it was so yummy. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Run don’t walk to this place!

I just ate there, it was good. Although they had rice plates wings and authentic dishes that I wanted to try, I had the roast beef sub combo with the sautéed veggies mmm! It came with a nice helping of lightly Seasoned fries and a cold Sprite for $15. They do Uber and DoorDash too. The sub was large.with juicy meat and a nice good crispy buttery flavor, the fries nicely seasoned to compliment the sub and then chugging that cold Sprite was really good for my lunch. I’ll be back for more. I would give you a photo but I ate it!
