Fisher’s American Tavern, previously The American Tavern has been a local eatery in Solon for over 30 years. Scott and Tami Fisher recently renovated and revitalized this old hot spot! The menu is very comprehensive and there is something for everyone. We are family friendly, with an awesome atmosphere, impeccable service, and delicious food. Annie’s Fish and Chips is by far the best fish fry around, our burgers cant be beat, and other menu items such as Chicken Paprikash, Chicken Piccata, Steaks, Salads, and appetizers, including, freshly breaded mushrooms, zucchini, and chicken tenders…. take tavern food to a whole new level. If you haven’t been here in awhile, we strongly suggest you give it a try. Open for lunch, dinner, & take out.

Unforgettable Gaming
Ordered a quick bite while making a delivery. I ordered the Wednesday Bologna special and oh my lord I was amazed, I’m not a huge bologna person but oh my lord I’d order another when I go back. I got the Italiano which had marinara, provolone, and banana peppers. By far one of the quick and tastiest sandwiches I’ve had. And don’t even get me goin on the fries, crispy and airy, just all around amazing.

Good food and has been a staple in the neighborhood. I like the Philly cheese steak here with beef not chicken, tastes like a Philly should. Their fish appetizer is alright, and the reason for 4 stars is I have had the meatball appetizer twice here; the first time it tasted fresh and delicious, the second time it tasted like it was old and microwaved, the cheese wasn’t fully melted either. Hit or miss, and drinks can get expensive here depending on how much you drink.

I have been to this place about 5 times and the first three trips was great service. My last two visits not so well…. both times my card was charged more than what I signed for. At first I thought it was just an honest mistake because I have worked at a bar with busy settings so I understood, but for it to happen again on the same day that I brought the mistake to there attention. I will never step foot into that establishment again

We discovered this place a little over a year ago when our youngest daughter was at the Young Chefs Academy. My husband I decided to have dinner while she was having fun cooking with her friends. It’s become a family favorite. The food is really good (I love their fries!) and the staff is always friendly and main waitress Fran has even taken the time to learn our family’s names, including our three kids.
