Go to China wok at 6431 E County Line Rd, Tampa, FL 33647. They are much better and better price. I ordered the “shrimp and chicken combo”. It was 95% vegetables (vegetables are not even mentioned on the menu item). When I told them there was almost no meat they told me I should have known that and they can’t explain every item on the menu. I was told if I wanted something else I would have to order it and pay. These people don’t care about customer service and are blatantly rude.

I am a local in this area and have probably ordered here hundreds of times during my life and I can confidently say New China King is the best Chinese food and takeout food I’ve ever had. While not being opened on Monday is a bummer, the food is always great. The lunch menu and combo menu values are unbeatable and you get a fulfilling meal with rice and a drink / egg rolls for a great price. The restaurant itself is as authentic as takeout restaurants can get with it’s faded menu and walk in feel (in a good way). I have never once been disappointed with my food and service here and the drink selection is great. I will continue to go here for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend the lo mein, bourbon chicken, general tso, kung-pao and Singapore noodles. 10/10

This was my first time to this restaurant and it appeared to be family owned. Service is friendly and I only had to wait about 10 minutes for the order which isn’t bad. I ordered the Lo mein with chicken and the house special which is the same but chicken, beef and shrimp. Overall I would say the quantity for what I paid was good but it lacked taste and it was a very small amount of chicken and meats. You’re basically paying for noodles mostly. I would give them a 5 on friendliness. A 5 on quantity for what I paid but a 3 on taste and a 3 for lack of meat. 4 average.
