Great spot to grab a bite on the river. People watch while sipping a Bloody Mary! The scallops over gingered cream corn was amazing! We had crispy friend pork belly over Mexican street corn for a starter, it was delicious. ! This is a can’t miss meal in Frederick !

We tried this place for the first time tonight and O M G it was amazing. We had fish and chips, pork belly, fried pickles, deviled eggs, and salmon bites and they were all so amazing We were pleasantly surprised by how quick and friendly the service was. The cocktails were amazing. Overall just amazing. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!!

Edit – A few years later and it’s still going strong. My latest order of shrimp and grits was disappointing – the shrimp weren’t deveined, and the grits were not salted and were lumpy, and that definitely changes the dish. I’ll go back but won’t order that again for a while.

We came here on a whim and we’re so gald we did! Things we had: Harvest Moon drink, Patsy Hazy IPA, tot’chos, crispy fried pork belly, shrimp and grits, and the glazed and confused burger. ALL AMAZING. Also, I heard from a birdy that the chef used to make fantastic cheesesteaks at his prior business soooo, yeah, let’s bring that to Truth and Beauty, shall we? We love the decor too! Very niche look. We’ll be back!

Mimosas were fire. Little expensive for the quality of the champagne as a whole bottle is 15.00 at the liquor store, but still delicious with a kick. Got the donut burger it was sooo good! 1st time having a donut burger and I’d definitely recommend. They sell out of them quickly. The thai brussel sprouts were amazing, so many crispy edges. The only thing I disliked were the breaded mushrooms which tasted like any other frozen ones you get from a pizza shop and the horseradish sauce was just ranch (if not then it needs more horseradish haha). 4 stars on atmosphere just because it’s pretty cramped.
