This place was so great! We stumbled across it by accident while we were trying to kill some time. First of all, BOTH my husband and I ate here (with leftovers) for a grand total of $21. We went at the tail end of their lunch service, and it wasnt crowded or loud at all. The staff was quick, efficient, and they didn’t hover.

I’m not sure if it was just an off day or if this is the usual but I ordered shrimp lo mein and shrimp fried rice. The lo mein is okay. Very bland. Only thing I can taste is whatever they put on it to make it spicy. (I asked for it to be spicy.) The rice? Horrible. One it’s not fried. Two, it has NO seasonings. Like literally NONE. I forgot I also ordered a spring roll, it was okay. It has a sweet taste and that’s not my preference for spring rolls but overall I’d definitely say this was a waste $22.

good food, poor service. we used to hit this place with a bunch of friends, between 5-10. we tried to order an $8 soup and they charged us $40 for it, because that day they decided to charge by the amount of people drinking the soup, instead of the quantity of soup, and but it was all the same sized bowl of soup!! we brought this up to the owner/manager and he took off like eight bucks, so we still had to pay $32 for some $8 soup. that’s fine, take your extra $24. we’ll keep our ~$220 per meal and take our friend group to a different restaurant. these folks know how to cook, they but don’t know how to handle customers, or i guess do basic math. recommend anyone reading this to go to East Meets West instead

Avoid this place if you have asian face and don’t speak Cantonese or will be discriminated and treated with horrible and rude attitude!!!!! We came to this restaurant twice and we were discriminated just because we kindly asked if could we order in Mandarine. To make sure to get the food we want, we ordered in English instead and asked if we could have a combination order of chicken and duck rice. We even verified twice with the server to get an combination order and the server said yes. Then we sit and waited 30 minutes to get the food, after two other tables and two to-go orders were served who came after than us. When the food finally came, they brought two separate orders of a chicken and a duck rice. Of course we were charged for the two orders. We thought maybe this was just a miss-communication and maybe if we have to-go order, the experience could be better. Then the worst part came, the owner lie to me in front of my face said I am out of to-go menu even when he noticed that I have already saw the menu were there on the counter. Okay, his facial expression just told me that “ I don’t give a care about you as a customer at all”. Yes like that, it is the first time, we were discrimated regarding our accents and races in such a big and liberal city.

I’ve lived in Memphis for 7 years and I’ve never been impressed with the Chinese food here. Good Chinese is so hard to find. I found this place by doing a quick Google search and saw it had a high review score. I read the reviews and everyone loved it. I thought we would give it a try.
