Such a cute little restaurant at Nippers Corner. The lady who took my order was so kind, I paid $6.50 for what appears to be half a gallon of egg drop soup (great portion!) Perfect for my sore throat and it was made very quickly. She asked if I wanted a fortune cookie and her smile was genuine (she gave me two!), packaging was thoughtful. I recommend this place!! Will be coming back.

The owners are nice and it’s maybe worth a try. But the chicken is all deep fried breading. I’ve ordered general tsos a couple times and this time it was so extremely hot I couldn’t eat it. It was never that way before. So I wasted 13 dollars. And they’ve microwaved my food before.

They used the Sweet and Sour chicken to make Orange chicken. The orange flavoring was way too potent, probably because there were orange peels cut up and served in the dish. It tasted weird and had a weird texture in some spots, too, as though it had burned while sticking to a fryer or something? Idk, it had dry hard spots. The sauce was thick and stuck together like jello. I ordered a combo meal, but instead got this makeshift sweet-and-sour-turned-to-orange-chicken, with a side of bland white rice that wasn’t sticky at all like asian rice usually is. You should be able to eat asian white rice with chopsticks, but this wasnt like that at all. I go to these kinds of small generic chinese foods all the time, but this was the worst I’ve ever had. It was also $2 more than what places that also give you an egg roll usually charge. I won’t be going back.

We use Evergreen quite often. The food is very good, prepared well and reasonably priced. They are always busy with take-out, but they can usually have your order ready within 10-15 minutes. It’s dine in or take out and we have done both. Nice place!

Had this place a couple times and the only word I can say is: bland. Rice has absolutely no flavor and the chicken, which is mostly just fried breading, drowns in sauce. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had, and I’m pretty tolerant.
