First time here, found them on Google, went near opening. Haven’t had turkey wings in so long wanted it. Terrible experience. First thing first the collard greens was bomb! Very good. The old reheated rice which wasn’t fully heated was crunchy. Last of all the disgusting turkey wings was not even cleaned! I tried to eat that’s unseasoned meat and it was full of feathers kept spitting them out. And unflavored. Waste of money don’t have to ever worry about me ordering again. If that’s “soul” food I don’t want it from here… wouldn’t mind only a side of greens from here as long as their fresh.

Anybody saying their food was bomb in 12/2021 must be related to whomever runs this business. We ordered the fried fish & salmon patty breakfast 3 days ago & Candace didn’t seem to be surprised when I called to complain. She was very nice & offered a refund. The meals were over $28. The choices of fish were catfish or talapia. I chose catfish only to be called & told they only have talapia. My eggs had cheese that I didn’t ask for. The talapia looked weird, tasted horrible, and was pink inside.The presentation just wasn’t right. The salmon patties tasted & smelled BURNT!! They say they just changed the grease. They must’ve change it to some old burnt grease. Anyone rating this place good either, high, can’t cook, or a combination of the two.

I found this place on Uber eats. They are also on Doordash and Grubhub. ❤️❤️ I love the customer service. I tried the breakfast here, I loved it and I also came back a second time. ️ ️ Scrambled eggs, sausage, 6 pancakes and 2 pineapple sodas. It was so delicious and worth every penny. Try this place out and you’ll enjoy every bite.

I ordered the salmon patties and I was DISAPPOINTED. I had ordered from Hazel’s before and never had this experience. The food was uncooked as I prefer a salmon patty fully cooked all the way through. Also, I specifically asked for eggs over easy, I was provided scrambled. The salmon had an odd taste to it and it appeared to be spoiled. Moreover, the menu is misleading, when using an app such as door dash please indicate which entrée items will include sides as I used the paper menu. However, I clearlyprovided detailed instructions on what I wanted to serve with the entrée.The breakfast menu appears that all items were served with grits, eggs,and a choice of or toast or biscuit. We ordered the cheese omlet and it is included in the entree section of the menu. (to be served with grits,toast or biscuit).We only received just that ( A cheese omlet with no toast, biscuit, etc. I only provided a 2 star because of the young lady serving the counter who answered the phone is always polite, but no one was willing to correct the order or address the issue about the food.

I usually do not give bad reviews, however. I must share my thoughts on the food received today. I used Grubhub for delivery. I ordered the Sautéed shrimp breakfast. It was extremely greasy and the shrimp was extremely hard. What a disappointment. I also ordered the red velvet waffles with fried chicken. The fried chicken was also greasy.. I can literally squeeze this chicken and see drippings. Crazy!

We ordered for delivery and was highly disappointed. My smothered pork chop was very greasy, literally had grease in my plate. We got one scoop and it was mad expensive for no reason. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!

I had the pleasure of trying this bomb black owned restaurant and the service was wonderful, food was cooked to protection i found my new soul food home ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Also if you wondered what I ordered it was the catfish lunch with the two sides being the Mac and the greens and it was fried to perfection and the Mac was all cheesy and creamy and well seasoned the greens well seasoned and not all salty , I also ordered the bust down ribs and shrimp both cooked to perfection that hazel
