If I could give this place one star I would. Lady told me my food would be ready in 3 minutes , 20 minutes later I’m still waiting. I get my food , the chicken taste like popcorn butter , the fries soft as bread and the cake I also ordered was dry as ankles in the winter. She tried to give me a Coke as a “complimentary gift” for the wait but that was flat and also expired. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

At about 630 pm Friday 4!16/23 I called chicken coop on division street and told the lady that answered the phone I had a couple questions about their menu.I asked if they sold livers she said no and abruptly hung up.I called back and said ma’am we must have got cut off I had another question then she just hung up before I could ask it.if I gotta pay someplace else more to do it I will,I’ll never waste my time with chicken coop again.

Their food is pretty good and the price is reasonable. I ordered the 6pc dark daily special for 6.99. I got 2 and a order of potato wedges. It came to $17-$18 not bad. I have only had those 2 items so far but that alone keeps me coming back. Overall completely worth the money.

We’ve been coming here for about 15 years. Most times the fried chicken is delicious and tasty. The fries are also good. Every now and then you can tell the grease needed to be swapped out. But all and all, good chicken for the price. No dine in, just carry out. Some people mention the location and state they don’t go at certain times of the day. We have never had any issues and never seen any altercations or goings on in or near the restaurant.
