Amazing Italian food! And our server (sorry – should have gotten her name) was absolutely wonderful. We sat at the small bar and she gave us great recommendations. The wine list was very nice as well. If I lived there I’d be in multiple times each week! We shared the insalata, a pizza and a pasta dish and couldn’t have been happier with our choices. We didn’t have room for dessert but b/c we were celebrating a 50th they sent us home with the cannolis and OMG were they delicious even the next day!!

Anytime we get the chance to be in the ADKS we choose Cafe Rustica. Do not let location (near the grocery store) dissuade you. Entrees were incredibly well prepared with the layering of different flavors. Salmon was so good. The food was exceptional. Highly recommend CR. Reservations are a very good idea. Go. You will not regret it.

The food here was great specially the appetizer. This would be few of restaurants I would recommend here at Lake Placid. The environment was cozy and service was pleasant. They have grocery store next to the restaurant if you were here on the first day and needed to do grocery shopping. Would recommend for anyone to try it.

This is IMO the best restaurant in Lake Placid. It’s consistent, yummy , and my favorite place. Joe is one of the waiters who always remembers me which makes me feel like family. I have yet to eat something that I didn’t love. Been coming here for years and it will always be the place I must eat at.

Caffe Rustica is single handedly the best restaurant in Lake Placid, if not the entire Adirondacks. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, and the food is top tier. This is a place you go to and want everything on the menu. The salads they offer are fresh and tasty, the seafood and meat are always cooked perfectly, and the Italian dishes are unique and flavorful. There’s a curated wine selection, and there’s always a new fun cocktail to try. The owners and staff are friendly, accommodating, and engaged. If you’re in LP, this restaurant is worth making the short drive off of Main Street to try out. We will be back soon!

A gem in an unexpected location! Don’t be put off by the location in a shopping center. The patio is lovely with flowers and trees all around. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the food and cocktails were so good !! The jalapeño margarita was spicy and delicious. Salad and new York strip pizza was yummy !!

We had a large party of 10 on a Saturday night at this establishment. They sat us at the time we had reserved, it was nice table in the back of the restaurant. The server was really good. He was friendly outgoing explained anything we asked and was very attentive all night long. The food was very very good, I had a beautiful steak with blue cheese that just melted in my mouth. So far my favorite restaurant in Lake Placid.

Nice cute place with great service. Food was not good. Chicken was gummy and tasteless. Pasta was over cooked just like sun dried tomatoes. Special – steak with veggies. Steak was good but veggies were undercooked. Sad but I had high hopes based on reviews.
