I don’t usually like to cook when I’m paying to go out to eat, but the experience was pleasantly surprising. I went with my girlfriend for the first time and we didn’t do so bad. Food choices were yummy and our server was very amicable. Loved that Mango Soju also. We will definitely be back

Excellent place for meat eaters! Meat is cooked by the customer at the table but there are some tasty options for pescatarians and vegetarians too. Their soft tofu soup is yummy. The constant hum of the fans is a bit annoying at first but necessary when everyone is cooking at their table!

Food was great, drinks were great. The only thing I didn’t like was being rushed to pay and leave. We were still enjoying our food and drinks even after a couple hours and rushed to finish it after being told they wanted to sit other people there. I’ve been to other Oghane locations and and never been rushed out like that. Probably won’t come back to this location.

Went here for dinner on a hot day. The food was good, but the temperature inside the restaurant was way too hot for comfort. I went to the restroom and there were 2 women in there trying to avoid the heat as it seemed to be the coolest room in the restaurant.

Typical Korean BBQ! nothing special here. The service was not that great – pretty rude and lack of patience by the staff. People need to take a few minutes to look at the menu and not rush to order something they might regret later! Ordered Korean Tofu soup and it took them until we finished our food!

I wanted to try Korean BBQ for the first time ever tonight, so I showed up to Ohgane BBQ at 530pm, but they refused to seat me as a single diner, saying parties of two or more was their dining in policy. So I said goodbye to my craving for Korean BBQ and walked next door to Kansai Sushi, because their sushi is outstanding, and they treat every customer with appropriate appreciation. I get that any restaurant can refuse any patron for whatever reason, but I will probably try another Korean BBQ first before going back here, if ever, because of this incident. Sorry, Ohgane, I can’t give more than two stars when you are a restaurant but refuse to seat me for dinner. 🙁

Ohgane is a chain AYCE (all you and eat) Korean bbq. I’ve been to Oakland, Alameda, and this one. I prefer going to this Korean bbq chain rather than the one starting with a G because I feel like the quality is blmuch better. I’m not too thrilled about the cost for children though. My 3 year old cost $17, he hardly ate. I think the children all you can eat price should be much lower. The adult rates are decent. These ohgane chains are normally clean and the waiters are very helpful, changing out the grills when they notice it getting burnt. The chain that starts with a G normally has younger party goers and can get rowdy. I feel like the service is more organized at Ohgane chains.
