We traveled down and stayed in Gulf Shores this past weekend. This was a vegan friendly option we found and were excited when old customers gave a positive review as we walked into the door. The staff were nice and helpful with menu selections. We were pleased with everything but the oil was tad off/not fresh in all the meals (pad thai, supreme pad Thai, spicy eggplant meal, 3 orders of springs rolls). About half way thru my meal, I noticed something that looked like a piece of beef in my spicy eggplant. I was disappointed but understand things happen. Please be careful cooking veggies around meat for nonmetal eaters. I also ordered spring rolls and on my third roll, vegan chewing something I couldn’t chew- a Rubber Band. Cooked into my veggie spring. I had already consumed a great portion of my meal by then but immediately just threw everything away.

We were seated right away. Appetizers came out very quickly. They were hot and delicious! The entrees can out just as we finished the appetizers. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed what they ordered. It was cooked right and hot. Server was very attentive and polite. We will certainly eat here again! Highly recommended!

I have tried the crab fried rice and the chicken fried rice. The food had a real funky aroma to it and when I ordered the chicken fried rice on 06/17/2022. I found this little bug in my food. I had already eaten a good bit of the plate before I found it. But never again will I go there. Isn’t the place newly built, and what kind of bug is that.

We used to dine at their old location. This new one doesn’t have the family feel of the old one. Just lacks atmosphere, and that is important to me. Everyone was nice, and service was good. Food was pretty good as well.

I love the food here and have been coming for years but if you are open until 8:00 you should take orders until 8:00. Otherwise say you close whenever your kitchen closes. I called at 7:32 and they would not take my order.

Such an amazing restaurant!!!! My family and I tried it for the first time tonight and we will definitely be making it one of our go to restaurants. The employees were so sweet and I love that it’s a local, family business. We called in our order and it was ready when we got there. The employee who answered the phone and took our order was a young female and she was very sweet and professional. I will DEFINITELY be recommending Taste of Thai to all my friends!!!

The pad thai is great. The crab wontons are handmade and delicious. The pork Laab is very tasty. My entire family loves to eat there. The staff is very friendly and quick to serve. I will continue to be a repeat customer. So darn good.
