Went here to take my mom out for dinner. Host was great and had a whole conversation with us about mother’s and sons and even introduced us to her son who was helping her out in the restaurant.

Having moved to NJ from Brooklyn we were looking for a great Turkish restaurant as we missed Turkish food and Bosphorus was beyond incredible! My partner is Turkish and I’ve eaten all over Türkiye. This place is top notch!! We had Iskender Kebab, Adana Kebab and the Sheppard salad. Amazing! I think my heart sung! The Adana kebab was the best I’ve ever had. Period! It has a wonderful spicy kick and cooked to perfection. The tzatziki (cacık) yogurt base on the side was perfect to bring down the heat. The Iskender Kebab was absolutely delicious. The Sheppard salad was perfect and the feta was so fresh it melted in your mouth. I can not wait to return here. The restaurant is family run and the owner was absolutely lovely! I let her know this was the best Adana I’ve EVER had! It made her so happy she gave me a hug. It truly was the best and I’ve eaten at every Turkish restaurant in NYC and throughout Istanbul and Türkiye. Hands down this place is amazing! We promised to return and we shall. Prices did feel a tiny bit on the higher end but it’s honestly so worth it!

We came here for our friend’s birthday this evening and had a wonderful time! The restaurant is beautiful and the family that owns and runs the restaurant was so incredibly kind and sweet. We sat outside and towards the end of our meal it got a little chilly, and a gentleman (I believe he was the son) brought us little blankets to keep warm.

All food is quite delicious but some appetizers were small portions and entrees reasonable portions. Very nice room only one waitress the restaurant day we were there. She worked hard but we waited a bit. Overall very good and would return.

This was my first time eating Turkish food, and it was delicious! The place felt homey with real plants and small trees, great accent lighting, and quaint decor. The service was friendly and attentive. The presentation of the dishes was artistic and the food delicious. We had the puffed roll pastry with feta cheese and spices… delicious. I really enjoyed the char grilled branzino and arugula with avocado salad. The dressing is light and so tasty. The grilled lamb chops with rice were also great dishes. The potato garnishes were yummy, light, and crispy. The server recommended kunefe for dessert, which is a delicious baked dough with sweet goat cheese. Parking is on the street, which is metered, but the meters take cards. $0.25 per half hour. We plan to come again with family and friends.

My derby friends and myself wandered into this delightful gem of a restaurant when we were famished and we were so lucky to do so! The worker was friendly and helpful and cooked all of our food to perfection, complete with floral-shaped garnishes and veggies. The complimentary hummus and pita was such a pleasant surprise! The napkins were folded in a fancy fashion, and we felt very satisfied after the delicious meal! I can’t wait to visit again!
