I love small American owned diners and this one doesn’t disappoint. I enjoy seeing all the usual town folk in and out. Its a part of America that is slowly fading away. Anytime we can support them we will.

I am tempted NOT to say how perfect Granny’s is – a true gem. One of those places that does EVERYTHING right. Amazing quick seating even if there’s a little wait, super friendly service and the best tasting food. We eat here often – biscuits, breakfast wraps, classic egg breakfast, hash browns, tall fluffy pancakes, liver mush, sausage or bacon and the burgers or Philly cheese steak have all been outstanding. The kicker is the prices. Restaurant prices went up substantially in the last few years – well not here!

I had heard about this place through my wife so we went last Saturday. Great staff and they had a table for us without a wait. I found my omelette bland and lacking flavor. It was a sausage, and cheese omelette. Turns out, it was the sausage causing the bland flavor. On the other hand, the grits were wonderful. I’m going to go back and try bacon next time.

This was a nice, small, local place to eat. The food was fantastic! It was also very hot, which was a refreshing change from the food you normally find these days. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming. The prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be back the next time I am driving along I-85!
