Stopped in for lunch today. Food was excellent and the staff was friendly. We got the chicken wings with Asian sauce for an appetizer, they were juicy but a little plain. We then shared a Ribeye and added a crab cake with loaded potato and fresh zucchini & squash. The entree items items were all cooked to perfection, and the presentation was very nice too. The baked potato had cheese, bacon, and chives added and melted cheese in oven…soooo good!

While visiting the area, we decided to try The Mason Jar for an early dinner. The location was easy to find in Google Maps. We were able to be seated right away and we received our orders quickly and at the same time. Food was delicious and service was amazing. Great job on taking care of the customer.

THE go to bar in Hillsville VA. Great staff and high energy bartenders. Food is always on point, so going to the dining room (super family friendly) for dinner or lunch is recommended as well. Different specials every week so go check them out and try something new

The chicken and waffles So yummy. The cooked to perfection, moist, tender chicken breast inside a thick crispy crunchy crust was drizzled with the just the right amount of maple syrup. Then underneath two waffles that were interestingly cooked crunchy as well. I usually prefer my waffles soft but these almost had a candy crunch outside with a fluffy soft interior. They held up well to the syrup and butter. Huge portion as well, had to take half home to eat for breakfast. Service was great. Our waitress kept the drinks filled. I liked this place and will definitely try again on passing through. I’d even make it destination for a day trip and explore the town around it.

We are on the road ahead stopped at the Red Roof Inn in Hillsville, VA. Google led is too this restaurant and we loved it!!! There is a sports bar with TV screens but it is separate from the restaurant. What a great find!!

The food was delicious! We both got chicken sandwiches lol because the prices were so high but I must admit it was the best chicken sandwich I ever ate. My wife got the one that had the crab dip on it I got the southern style. While the food was good even the sweet tea was good. My tea was hot the server even brought extra ice to the table because it melted so fast in the tea. The other strange thing my food was cold, the fries were like icicles my wife’s were super hot like they had to cool before you could eat them. The server was great! Friendly and always there if needed she did follow the unwritten rule of servers wait until he has his mouthful then ask a question lol overall we enjoyed the mason jar but there were a couple negatives it wasn’t clean. Trash and crumbs in the floor. The wait was a little long and the price was high and the cold food. But as critical as I am the food was good enough to make up for it.

Well folks , y’all know I usually don’t post bad reviews that could possibly be bad for local businesses. I give 2 stars overall just because it has potential. I give 12 stars for food because my wife said her burger was just ok . I give 1 star for service for a few reasons 1. Our waitress took our drink order and just walked off , not would y’all care for a appetizer ? Nope .

Definitely order the fried pickles and tuna wrap! My wife and I are staying at an Air BnB near Hillsville and decided to order Togo because we leave in the morning. My only regret is not dining in! The bartender that took my order on the phone was very quick and professional; judging by the noise in the background they were obviously quite busy. When I arrived the band was packing up and the restaurant was still fairly busy, but the bartender greeted me very quickly. The food finished just in time for me to pay out and the server that brought it was friendly as well.
