Where do I begin? Maybe I should start with the positive. It’s a lovely restaurant and the place looks very inviting. Now the food is another story, and that is where the wheels come off the wagon.

Pizza was amazing. I love the fact hey have buffalo mozzarella. The salad was good and the service was good. I had to take away two stars because the pasta was way too overcooked. There were only 2 tables to serve in the whole restaurant, and an Italian restaurant should never overcook pasta. It’s so overcooked, there is no texture – it’s just mush.

I went here with a friend who recommended it. I had scallops and spinach risotto. It was so delicious! The atmosphere was nice and they had walls of glass so you could people watch folks walking in the neighborhood. The parking was close by, covered (as in a garage) and free. The staff were very attentive and informative. Lots of food options for all different dietary requirements, including vegetarian and low carb. I will definitely be going back.

Real Italian cuisine, I recommend this new restaurant in Fairfax, near to the Dunn Loring Metro. You have to park in the Garage (it’s free), there is little street parking. Food was delicious (pasta), good appetizers, great wine selection and the restaurant had a good vibe, real classy. Great service and real friendly staff. It’s too cold now, but they have outside seating.

If you are looking to have authentic Italian cousine, this is the place to go! The chef, Marco, came out to greet us and the owners were welcoming. Great service from Carlos very attentive and recommended great dishes.

I live a block away and have tried a few times with the hope that the quality improve. The quality of the food is not worth the price. I’ve tried the appetizers, pasta and pizzas, all underwelming. I highly recommend if you want decent (and good quality) Italian food, go to Alta Strada in Mosaic or Crust closer to Tysons, or a number of other Italian restaurants in the area. The low number of people seated in this place makes sense. I will not be giving this place another chance.

Most happy to have La Favola in the neighborhood. Real good, authentic Italian cuisine. Fresh ingredients, superb service. My friends & I are tummy- and pocket- most happy w/ your lunch specials. We wish & hope that a lot of people will get to know you & you flourish so you just stay in this nice neighborhood.

My boyfriend and I were there for their first brunch today. We wouldn’t have known they even had one but we stopped to look at a menu in the window and someone came out to give us the brunch menu. I’m so glad we decided to stop! He enjoyed the eggs benedict and I loved the stuffed french toast. It was perfectly done with crust that was flaky and somehow even though it was stuffed with mascarpone it still felt light. It was really just delicious. As we left we noticed that they had someone playing the piano live. I would definitely go back again, it was a really great experience.

We sit at the bar and get great service. Excellent pizzas, including a delicious white one, very good modern versions of Italian dishes, and fresh baked bread. Not inexpensive, but worth it.
