My daughter took me and the family to Asuka for Father’s Day! My 2nd time there and it was a delight! The chef puts on a great show. The rest of the staff are very friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

We had excellent service with excellent food. We’ve eaten here about four times already. The first three times I ordered sushi and our waiter was very attentive and friendly. I’m now on a mission to try each sushi roll until I get to the bottom of the list. Lol! Habachi side was very entertaining and the food was absolutely hot and delicious. My grandbaby which is 18 months old was quite entertained the whole time and he is very hard to get to sit still for very long. We left with a sense of relaxation and our stomach full with extra food to take home! My new favorite restaurant! ♥️

What a great Japanese hibachi grill restaurant. The Mrs and I really enjoyed our lunch! We started out with the Goyza and two sushi rolls (California and Spicy Crab). She had the Teriyaki Chicken lunch special while I had the Teriyaki Steak lunch special! This was by far the most tender steak I’ve ever had at a hibachi grill!!

I love the Nicholasville location, Danville needs to step it up with communication. What started as a (quoting from the phone call) “15 maybe 20 minute” wait on a take out order for house soup, house salad, and one sushi roll, turned in to almost an hour. I politely asked for a refund as I was in a time crunch and literally could not wait, and was respectfully given my money back. The manager was very kind to offer the soup and salad which had been waiting but I kindly declined, my time was more valuable than some iceberg lettuce and broth at that point. I’m not sure what had happened, the Staff working pickup orders brought a sushi roll back and placed with what appeared to be my order and when I confirmed my order with the manager, I guess the sushi roll was the wrong kind and the manager took it back to the sushi bar. No update was given while I was standing there so I waited a little bit longer but I knew I was cutting time close as I had other plans.

We made reservations for the Hibachi side and got in relatively quickly after arriving. Sat down, got drinks, salad and soup right away. The chef came out and was very friendly and did a good job of the show basics (there was another chef nearby that was super engaging, but our last was perfectly fine too). The food was all cooked excellently and tasted great. Normally in a bigger city I would say this is a 4-star restaurant but because it is in Danville and there’s very few options, I give it 5-stars because it’s that level for where it is. Thanks for opening the place and giving us more options!

The Hibachi grill chef was amazing. The food was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Staff were amazing as well. The warm Sake took me back to my military days in Okinawa, Japan. A great experience!
