Our lovely daughter treated us to a wonderful Thai dinner this evening. I had the pleasure of having cashew nuts with chicken and jasmine rice. The scallion pancakes were an amazing appetizer. The meal was extraordinary. Bay was our server and did a great job of providing excellent customer service. I recommend Chiangmai as the best Thai food in Naugatuck, Connecticut area.

Went to Chiangmai Thai Restaurant on 166 Church street because the restaurant I planned on going to was packed tonight and what a pleasant surprise. Amazing quality food and kind service in a gentle setting.

It had all your classic Thai dishes at a reasonable price. The servers were excellent in making sure we were satisfied. Best shumai I’ve had! They were big compared to the usual sized shumai dumplings I’ve seen. Bathroom was clean and the restaurant wasn’t cramped at all.

Absolutely love this restaurant. It is some of the best Thai food we have ever had and everything is fresh and delicious. Try the pineapple, fried rice and mango fried rice! And the drunken noodles are one of our favorites. It is also great that it is BYOB.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to visit the Thai restaurant in my own town, but I’m so glad I finally did! It’s a small, cozy spot with friendly staff. I was very happy with my pad Thai – it had such a great flavor! There were plenty of large pieces of chicken mixed in too. My dad enjoyed his dish of cashew duck as well. Chiangmai Thai didn’t quite beat out my favorite Thai restaurant, but it’s close! It’s a great option to have when I don’t feel like leaving town.

This was truly a delightful experience for my family and I. Service was quick and the waitresses were very friendly! We ordered the drunken noodles, Thai basil chicken stir fry, soft shell crab curry, and both the steamed and fried snapper. Everything was so delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely return soon.

We love all the food here especially the Choo Chee Res Snapper if they have the large size of the fish in stock. We do not want other fish like tilapia or salmon to be the alternative. Nice owner and staff.

My husband and I walked into this restaurant and were instantly impressed. The staff immediately seated us at a beautifully decorated table, which had carefully folded napkin decorations on top of the plate. The owner personally tended to us, and was warm and hospitable. We ordered our drinks and appetizers, which came out only a few minutes afterwards. I ordered a Thai iced coffee and water, and my husband ordered a coke. The straws had beautifully crafted roses atop each one, another indication of the care and attentiveness to detail that this restaurant strives for.

We found ourselves trying to find a late dining spot on a Wednesday evening and the owners of this beautiful place were so gracious to host us. The food was out of this world delicious and this comes from someone that loves Asian and specifically Thai cuisine. We will bring our families back. Thank you for your hospitality and the amazing cuisine!
