Got takeout today, the iconic artichoke slice, the crab slice and a can of coke. $16 even. Slices were huge! Crab was good, a lot of flavors and ingredients going on, crust was stiff, not flimsy at all. The artichoke slice was a bit salty and HEAVY. Very rich and a bit overwhelming, perhaps some lemon slices to cut through it. I’d go back to try slices from the 13 pies offered in the case.

Tried out this place for the first time. It’s a small place compared to the Hoboken outlet, I also didn’t find the air conditioning inside and it was really hot inside the outlet due to the pizza oven and being summers, it’s not the ideal thing for the customers to face.

First off: LEARN TO RECYCLE guys! Please RECYCLE your aluminum cans. Don’t you love it when people use eco friendly paper plates made from recycled paper and then don’t recycle??? The food wss ok. The 7 cheese pizza with artichoke is too rich and creamy. The slices are HUGE though. Mind blown!

At $14 for 2-slices the pizza could have at least been hot.

The crab slice was absolutely fresh and delicious! Very liberal with the crab chunks which I was extremely pleased about. 10/10. Will return. Happy to have a location in downtown JC.

I have a lot of nostalgia for this place, since I first tried it when I first traveled to new york. It tastes similar to what I remember. The crust is toasty, crisp and that correct, ny style thickness. The toppings: the artichoke is their headliner, and it’s over the top. Soupy, thick, salty, a slice is a meal in itself. The best slice on the menu is the square Sicilian though. Nothing beats the flavor of those tomatoes and olive oil. I’d say it’s one of the best slices in the city. Also, they need to cut the salt on all slices by about 50%.

The Artichoke slice isn’t the same as the one in the city! The pizza was ok, thick crust and a layer of creamy artichoke filling. It didn’t seem to have any flavor; it tasted like cream. I prefer to visit the one in the city, the slice isn’t as big, but the flavor is intense.

It was a pretty delicious pizza and a huge slice as well. I just wish there was more cheese to the sauce ratio but other than that it was a great quick meal while bar hopping

The Sicilian & Artichoke are the best in my opinion. Generous in toppings and lovely crust! Glad they opened one in JC

Easily top 10 pizzas in the world. Someone in my party dropped their slice in a moment of religious ecstasy and still ate it.
