The coffee is great and the food is wonderful. People are happy to chat with their neighbor and share the local news. We like the scones and cinnamon rolls but if you want some protein, the chicken biscuit is better than it has any right to be. The service is great too and the owner is hands on, happy to help.

The Over The Hill Gang, a bicycle group ate here on our trip down the Natchez Trace. The service was first rate, the food was perfect…the staff bends over backwards to make you happy as does everyone in this beautiful old southern town. Their goal is to make you happy. Mike, the owner, is proud of his town and is working tirelessly to make all the visitors to Houston feel welcome. Check out his hotel. Enjoy the town of Houston, a model for every town in America.

Gather Coffee + Brew has added what has been needed on the square in Houston. The shop is cozy and has a great selection of food and beverages. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the service is swift. Whether you’re a local wanting to hang out with friends or just passing through, this is a must-go-to place in Houston.
