This was my second time going to this Subway and this was my second terrible experience. The first time, I was charged a whopping $17.54 for a roasted turkey footlong with bacon. I’ve never paid more than $13 for my order. The second time I went I was charged $13.78, and that’s not even the bad part. Not only that but the lady that made my sub gave me the wrong one. Luckily, I checked my order before I left the parking lot. The lady also asked me twice, “Are you sure that’s not your sandwich?” It was some guy’s BLT. The guy that had my sub was halfway out the door when I went back to retrieve my sandwich. I wish I could rate this subway 0 stars because that’s exactly what this place deserves with the incompetent workers they have.

Only white bread offered to me. Other breads unavailable. Subway should be ashamed of this location the way its operated and its bread preparation. This is wrong. Cannot chew this bread.

When I walked into the door there was a long line. This is the best subway compared to others in town so the wait didn’t bother me. 15-20 minutes goes by I’m still in line , don’t even have my sandwich started yet. The other employee was in the restroom. Ashlee the ones making the sandwiches told the other employee that he needed to finish the rest of the line because she needed to sit down. She walks to the back and proceeds to work as we all heard her banging things around. After about 10 minutes she comes to the front with bread to go in the proofer. From working at subway previously I know that the bread takes longer to cook then what it would to get our sandwiches made. She picks up a door dash order and starts to make it until a woman in line confronts her on how long she has been standing here and the people behind her.

I will never again darken the doors of a Subway shop in Gainesville TX. My experience last Saturday evening: Ordered for pick-up. Paid with credit card. Went to get order — was at the mini strip of stores off hiway 82. Doors locked, lights all on in store. Waited about five minutes. While I was there two other people came to order food and left after trying locked doors. After five minutes I called the store. No one answered. Another five minutes and a girl comes out from back, unlocks door, and says “we are closed.” I said, “but I paid for an order and need the food I paid for.” She explained that she had only a bit of training, didn’t expect to work solo, and was unable to prepare the food. She stated that she was waiting for a co-worker to come and help her, but that he “was walking” and it might be quite awhile before he would arrive. She said I could wait for him and get my refund or I could call the next day and get the payment refunded. Not typically a quitter, I went to the subway in Walmart. No one was behind the counter. I waited several minutes. No one showed. I called out and no one responded from the back of the shop. Two guys were finishing their sandwiches, so I asked, “is there someone here working?”. They said, “yes, but she left.” So. I left.

Upon arrival we were not greeted with a hello. The employee stated “I have a catering order to do it’s going to be awhile”. My daughter and I sat down with the daily paper that was provided in store. I took the crossword puzzle out and and proceeded to wait for 25 minutes while doing the puzzle with my daughter. She “the employee” then said she was ready for us. When I started to order they were out of every kind of chicken, she stated “it’s all frozen you’ll have to get something else”. I decided to not order because I do not eat lunch meat or beef, but my daughter was in mid order when I was going to put the crossword in my purse. Not the entire paper please keep in mind. When the employee turned and looked at me to say “ is that our paper?” I said “ yes ma’am it is”, then she proceeded to tell me “to put it back because we read that”. I then said “ it’s not your whole paper, it is just the crossword section I’ve left the rest.” She proceeded to tell me “you can’t take that, we read that, you NEED to put it back!”

Out of a lot of products, employees don’t seem particularly interested in working, glad I’ve been to a subway before because the girl making my sandwich didn’t may as well have been a mute. Skimped on everything she put on the sandwich. Couldn’t seem to keep things from mixing either, cheese ended up in the lettuce, lettuce all over the tomatoes (actually didn’t get tomatoes like I wanted to because they were covered in iceberg which I hate), and more spinach ended up in the onion thing than on my sandwich. Definitely won’t be going back to this location.

The guy who works this shift needs to be fired. He never has the food ready and has the worst personality.

Stopped by at 1016 am Friday. Lights on. Front door open. No one to be seen. Called into back where door was propped open. Finally knocked on bathroom door. Employee said “we’re not fully open yet”.
