What a real treat likely the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Fluffy large pancakes with butter and syrup in a bottle not a thimble sized cup. The side of sausage was a nice addition. My wife’s cornbeef hash with eggs and raisin toast was equally delicious. The prices were very very competitive with any restaurants I have encountered eaten in for quite a while. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

I was in town for a craft show at the Alpaca Fest at the Fair Grounds. Found this place on Google and went mostly because they were open. I’m glad I did. The food and service were great. Even early in the morning the dining area was mostly full with regulars. I’m sure I will go again if I’m ever in the area.

I could write a book about how awful 2 of my experiences have been here. I will never be back. 2 bad experiences with the same awful server. The server (prob in her late 40’s) is rude and sarcastic. Want to see for yourself; mention that your food is taking a long time. She will belittle you, and treat you like garbage, then yell as you are walking out the door, “Have a great day!!”

A party of 5 was seated before our party of 2 and we arrived before they did. When my friend asked to speak to the apparent woman in charge she aggressively charged at my friend and said “YOU HAVE SOMETHING YOU WANT TO SAY TO ME?” My friend said “I would like to talk with you about it” in a calmer tone of voice. The woman then said “go ahead and sit down!” At that point we left and I will not return. A blonde wait staff asked, previous to the confrontation “please don’t say anything that’s going to upset her.” This happened with a full room of other customers and was very unprofessional and very disappointing.

It really was impressive how quickly we ordered and received our food, especially since it was busy and there were I think 2 people working in total. At the end of the breakfast (we each had ordered very different things) my daughter said, “eh. It was better than school lunch.”
