Pretty good barbecue, moderately pricey. Sadly, they were out of ribs, which probably means that they’re very good or they don’t make very many. Hopefully it’s because they are very good. They were also out of broccoli salad.

The food here is so good. There’s a limited menu, but you’ll be wowed by the taste. It’s a bit small with limited seating and there’s only the owner working, but it’s totally worth it. I highly recommend Meat Mechanics!

Away for 2 years but back and happy for the return, ALL HAIL THE KING OF BBQ!! For the BBQ connoisseur I highly advise anything on their menu but what doesn’t last long I’m sure is the brisket, so be sure to add some to your order, even to take home and eat it later.

After years of hearing about how great this establishment is I finally visited today and it went beyond my expectations. The food was amazing. We shared a pork taco and a brisket taco and they were so tender and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was some of the best we’ve had and our only disappointment with the baked beans was that we wished that we had bought a second order lol. John was also a pleasure to talk to. One of the friendliest people we’ve had the pleasure of meeting in a while. We highly recommend!

We decided to make a takeoff order in this beautifull restaurant and definetelly put 5/5. Food was very good and tasty. Pity that with this virus we can’t feel yourself better, spending time in restaurant with another people and have just one way to take off((( In all ways you guyz have a good food and definitely should work in this hard time for all of us!

I ordered the Ribs, and they were amazing. The best Ribs I ever had. The wife had brisket taco, and she loved it. Sides of Mac and cheese and peach baked beans were great. If you love barbecue, you have to come here.

We were in the area and we decided to try Meat Mechanics. We glad we did. The food was great. The owner and staff was very friendly. I got the Brisket Sandwich and hubby got the Pulled pork Sandwich. They even us try the ribs that they have leftover since it was not enough for a plate. Will definitely come back and bring friends and family with us next time. Worth every penny….Great barbecue!!!

The owner is the is the one ya see back behind the counter hustle’n out the orders & feels like your favorite uncle. The pulled pork taco with cole slaw and peach baked beans is a must have! The brisket taco with blue cheese looks damn good too! Gonna be a food stop everytime I’m in Dover

Great ribs, pulled pork, and pulled chicken. We tried three of their sides: mac and cheese, cole slaw, and the bourbon peach baked beans. Everything was fresh, home made and flavorful. Best I have had in the Dover area.
