The Market chicken sandwich was served on a baguette-ish bread that was soft with a bit of crunch on the ends. The spicy rooster sauce added a little heat and flavor! The picked onions did not seem pickled at all; they were diced and a little on the firm side.

This review is for my first visit to the Roost. I had a breakfast burrito, a fruit tart and an ice tea. They somehow mixed up my fruit tart with an arugula salad, but that was straightened out pretty quickly. The fruit tart was the best I ever had. Atmosphere was ok. A bit crowded, but I’ll be back.

The coffee and espresso here is great, and the breakfast burritos are a fantastic value. Pastries and breakfast sandwiches have all been phenomenal, too. This place tends to get really crowded, but that’s the only downside. This is a fantastic spot and definitely worth wandering down Main Street for!

Kindest Baristas. And what’s this, sweet and savory Waffles? Though I must say the Cowgirl Cookies are my favorite. Love The Roost. -Smiles

I love the atmosphere at this place! Everything is made to order so it may feel like there is some wait time, but it is totally worth it. The Roost team is very friendly and hardworking. They even deliver your order wherever you are sitting in the restaurant!

I’ve been coming here for years when I’m in town and it’s one of my favorite places in Northampton for quality consistency and atmosphere. Expect it to get busy and crowded because it’s great but if you catch it on a slow afternoon it’s a lovely place to sit for a while and enjoy a drink and a snack. They do have a lot of seating and some big tables! The food is really good. The sandwiches are amazing! The staff is also really great throughout the years which says a lot since it does get quite busy!

The banana cream pie is consistently delicious, but the food falls flat. In particular, the tofu banh mi. For the price of the sandwich, you’re mostly getting bread, and the insides have just shy of zero flavor. A huge disappointment tbh. The service on 7/10/23 around 4pm was friendly/kind, though in the past, it hasn’t always been. Hit or miss, I guess!

I ordered the Gluten Free Waffles and it was bomb like I’m was surprised cause it’s hard to find good gluten free options. So definitely tasty, can’t remember the cost but still that was the highlight ✨ the berry smoothie was nothing like a berry smoothie. I tasted majorally orange juice. No offense but I just said okay that can be thrown out. I also got the vegan milkshake w/ Almond milk and overall it wasn’t bad but damn no where is perfect. I was satisfied with the bomb waffles its Hard to find spots with GF and DF options for me. ️Now what topped it for me was the flies…

Kudos for having tasty vegan options but 3 out of the 3 times I’ve gone here, they can’t seem to get the orders right. The food gets 4 stars but service can use some work at 3 stars.
