Over the years, this kfc/tacobell has improved their quality of food and service their cleanliness has not. Prior to their renovation, there were serious cleaning and health issues in the store. I previously reported them to corporate for mold growing behind the drink machines.

Food was fresh and warm. Only issue, with all customers was the way they operate the split store. So if you order KFC & Taco Bell, you get your KFC pretty quickly. The TB portion comes out about 10min later. They don’t have it structured where both sides are manned. Management might want to consider how to restructure that so families are not finishing thier meals while other members are just starting to eat. Other than that, the staff are wonderful and very pleasant!

I ordered a sandwich combo meal, while the piece of chicken hung over the sides of the bun the chicken and fries both tasted like a funnel cake without the powdered sugar. I also asked for extra pickles which were nowhere to be found. This was at 1030 am and there was not any other customers inside and still couldn’t get the order right, ok did I mention the funnel cake chicken and fries.

They always mess up your orders and they never have ingredients to make your food. It is the worst taco bell in north alabama, save your money and drive to Hazel Green. You get much better service there.

I visited the Taco Bell at 12276 US-231, Meridianville, AL 35759, on 25 March 2023 at 9:40 pm. I saw one irate driver making hand gestures and drive off. The vehicle in front of me waited a few minutes before they drove off. I waited at the drive thru intercom box for 4 minutes before I drove off. Before I drove off, I told the intercom box a few times that I was ready to order. Never once did I hear anybody acknowledge me. When I gave up on waiting, I drove by the drive thru window and saw no one working the drive thru window. I did see one employee take out the trash, but that was it. My total time spent in the drive thru was 17 minutes. This is unacceptable. If you are going to quit serving customers before closing time, put up a sign, and turn off the lights.

There is something about this place. It seems like there is always something wrong with the order. I was overcharged for a Quesadilla meal this most recent visit. Check your receipts! They had the wrong price in the computer. Another time they gave me the wrong sauces. The cashier didn’t ring them up so the back didn’t get the correct info. But the manager was dismissive rather than fixing the issue. Another time I was given fries instead of mashed potatoes. Yet another time, they called my order so I took it and started driving home, but I am glad I checked my bag at the stop light because my quesadilla was missing. I had to go back. Many other times, the lobby was closed way before it should have been. My recommendation to the franchisee is to hire more effective managers.
