This place is the worst ever. Horrible taste and wasn’t even made correctly! They literally gave me 5 shreds of beef and a pound of chopped mushrooms, That’s not Mongolian beef! The taste was pure salt and the accompanying pork fried rice had no pork in it???? Very Dissatisfied for a first order…..I will never return with this level of failure…..

For years we have loved Golden Star— we ordered a few times a month at least. Recently, they’ve fallen off and it’s more than disappointing. The first time they ever promised a refund after we received food that was so cold, it was as if it came straight out of the refrigerator, they never followed through so we never received it. This last time, they sent the wrong order and they were actually willing to send a new plate, then requested that they wanted to swap the food out— so beware, your order might have been provided by the last person who sent it back. The quality of this place has really tanked. I’ll miss the restaurant this place used to be.

My Family and I like to go to Golden Star 1-2 times per month. Every time the food and service is top notch. They have become the only Chinese food restaurant we will go to. Even our picky kids love it. Keep up the great work!

2nd Chance For Strays
I so regret not checking reviews before ordering from this restaurant through Beyond menu. Although I didn’t find any cockroaches, as mentioned in one review, it was the absolute worst food I’ve ever had. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The word bland does not even begin to describe it. The amazing shrimp was amazingly tasteless. The crab fried rice was fake crab and also had zero flavor. And I generally like fake crab. The shrimp rolls had no shrimp, let alone even shrimp flavor. My dog didn’t even want it.
