The chicken cheesesteak sub that I got was amazing! I got fries as well, and usually the fries are amazing from Penn Station, but the fact that I ordered through grubhub, the fries were cold and not so great anymore. No fault of penn station. I don’t recommend ordering for delivery if you get fries. They need to be eaten freshly made.

Went in to order sandwiches to go. Employee making them was not wearing gloves, wiping his hands on his pants, and grabbing food with his bare hands. He was also ringing people up, touching the computer screen and then right back to making sandwiches while touching the bread, meat, veggies, etc. WITH NO GLOVES! Grossed me out & I had to leave with no food.

Scheduled an order pick up an hour in advance only to wait there for 35 minutes after my order pickup time. The tall guy in the glasses working the register was very rude to me when I asked him to check on my order. They didn’t even apologize for my wait. Turns out that my cheesesteak was sitting there the whole time ready for me. They didn’t even bother to remake it.

The food was supposed to be ready at 720 I arrived at 722 and gave them the name of the order which they yelled down the line. I then stood there and watch them pull orders from the oven to run them out to people that came in after me. I then gave them their order. I gave them my name again which they ignored. Finally at 746 they asked me again and then bagged the sandwiches that had been sitting there since I walked in. I then told the manager he needed a better system to which he just basically blew off the comment. By the time I got the food home it was cold and not very good. I will not be going or ordering food from there again.

Penn Station is the best sandwich shop hands down. You do have to pay a bit more for the quality though. I love the pizza sub and Philly cheese steak. Also, fresh cut fries. Wish they had a baked option though.

I placed an order online. When I arrived to pick it up, no one acknowledged my presence for a very long time (I was standing at the register where you pay for and pick up food). When I was finally able to get the attention of one of the employees, he was confused, bordering on rude. He instructed me to pay for my online order — I had already paid online. He then put my order in. What is the point of an online order if the food isn’t started until after you arrive to pick it up? Things then got worse. The employees were struggling to process all of the orders. My two subs were somehow shoved to the side, and were left sitting until I once again managed to get the attention of the employee working the register. I asked if he could check on my order (this is now 30 minutes after my pickup time). He found the sandwiches in a basket on a side shelf. He then let them sit for several more minutes before he went back and put them into a bag. He then put my two orders of fries (cold and half-filled cups) into the bag. He never apologized for the wait or the problems they were having. I won’t be back to this location.
