Really great food – try the burger with bacon jam! Everything can be had in a gluten-free version. Our 8-yr-old was so happy to get pancakes – and our phantastic waitress knew exactly, what is important for kids: Do you want the jam on the side? Both flavors? The chocolate sprinkle IN the dough or on the side? Fruit or no berries? She also gave us some bacon jam to taste, because we had never had it before. Totally convincing;-). Big servings, outstanding service. – Only drawback of an otherwise great place: everywhere in Chelsea Market it is VERY loud, also here at Friedman‘s.

If you’re a cheese lover you should definitely try this sandwich. If not, you will find something suitable for your taste. The staff is nice and friendly and they are fast even if there are a lot of people waiting in queue. The fries are perfect! Love it

If you like good black coffee in big mugs, w/ free refills… grab an early seat enjoy breakfast and sip away. The Nova Benny was so flavorful & the perfect amount of food. The pancakes were super fluffy and you can choose your topping of strawberries, blueberries, or chocolate chips 🙂 we arrived right when they opened and it was perfect. Quiet time to talk about our plans for the day with good coffee & breakfast. As it gets crowded though the sound gets pretty loud, especially with kiddos so plan accordingly if that would bother you. Service was great!

The food is okay, nothing really special. Be mindful that it is more expensive for the portion but location location location. I went with a friend who is gluten intolerant, so it was a perfect spot for her.

So I decided to have some breakfast at the Chelsea Market because it is a very cozy and inviting place for food. Looked at the reviews for this place and thought it was going to be a great experience overall. Food as you can see looked great right? But actually it was very unpleasant. First I take a bite into the poached egg and bit into a huge eggshell. Then I take a second bite and guess what? A long blond hair in my mouth. Really disgusted. And to end no manager went to our table to apologize for what happened. He was just looking at our table. They asked if I wanted a new plate but at that point I was so disappointed. Poor service from the management team.

Friedman’s was perfect for brunch! The food was fantastic, the coffee solid, and the service was amazing. We got there right at the right time, around 11:00, and got seated immediately. It started getting very busy, but we never felt rushed, nor did the quality of service change. If we are ever back in Chelsea, I know exactly where we will go!

This is the first restaurant we’ve found that is gluten free by default. We loved it! The service was impeccable. The food quality was superb. Ask for a pat or two of butter if you order the pancakes.

Okay food. The positives were that the service was great, the stark white dining room was glowing so great and a little too bright sometimes. Anyway I have to repeat, the service was great and probably even more so to people who enjoyed the food. It was okay, they definitely couldn’t mess up a lot of the menu, good job on the egg cook but the pancakes are bland. I . The pancakes had some air but pretty dense. With no key qualities of pancakes to point out. The blueberry compote was a blueberry compote. There are similar things to eat at much simpler price points nearby. I wouldn’t go again. But if you want.
