First time here, glad we decided to give them a try. I ordered the hamburger and fries and my daughter had the chicken sandwich and fries. Everything was really good. The service was even better. They greeted most customers by name which is always a plus for me, creates repeat customers. We will definitely be back.

I ate the gizzards and they were cooked wonderfully. Not hard but light, crispy and tender. Most places overcook them. The staff was wonderful, informative and pleasant to talk to. The place was clean and upkept. The atmosphere was very much to be desired. There was a church group across the street in the parking lot preaching over a microphone. No idea what was up with that. When I got my food there was a homeless lady that came up to me asking me and others in the dining room for money to eat. I said no and kept eating. Got some food to go and left. I would go back but drive thru only if I did.

I got the chicken wings and fries. Chicken was fried nicely and fries were solid. Unfortunately the chicken had absolutely no seasoning at all. I’m not sure if someone made a mistake or something but it was incredibly bland. I’d still like to give this place a second chance but can’t recommend at the moment.

I ordered the chicken wings with 2 sides. The chicken was fried way too hard, the bone was extra white and dry. I drove back across town, told my order could be replaced. As I waited in the car, in the hot sun…I asked if I could have a courtesy lemonade and was told, ‘no’. Was thinking about ordering again this weekend for a cookout, but this will be my last visit. How rude and unprofessional the cook/owner is, the cashier was nice.

Had a couple meals here. The food is good and the portions are well with the money. Only complaint is that it can be a bit bland. Both the chicken and gizzards were fried well with a nice crispy skin and batter, and moist and juicy. But the flavor was lacking salt, spices, herbs, just nothing to make it stand out.

When I’m feeling lazy and also craving fried seafood, this is the best place less than 5 minutes from our house. I usually get the two fish and six jumbo shrimp combo. Their portions are excellent, ordinarily I’d eat half and save the rest for breakfast. This photo is my next day leftovers, I got full quickly last night. Also… Their tartar sauce is amazing. I don’t even like tartar sauce but I always get extra of theirs. Try this place, you won’t regret it.
