We’ve dined several times at Pizzeria Ruby & while we won’t venture to say it’s “the best”, we will say it’s “the best we can recall having in a long a$$ time.” Their calzone is *chef’s kiss*, their drinks are delicious, their salads will make you so thankful you ordered a salad (Gorgonzola dressing is incredible), & we became fast fans of the Spicy Italian Boyfriend pizza. One time we even ventured to try the pasta & no surprise it was so dang tasty. I apologize in advance if this review sets them up for failure in your mind but just go give them a try for yourself… or don’t, it’s crowded & maybe try your other chain pizza places if you aren’t into good food- leaves an open table for us 😉

I was visiting the area and a work colleague recommended it. The pizza was good I got the vodka pie add pepperoni. The burrata was see definitely lacking and the peperoni had an off flavor. The service was great, the bartender was friendly and attentive. The only other opportunity was the fly problem in the bar area. Had to keep everything covered.

This is a cool little Italian spot in Johnson. The pizza is great, although I would love to be able to get some beef as a topping. The “special” fruit salad was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted.
