Don’t let the premise misguide you. The food we had was amazing: tasty, flavourful, original. Also, the person serving us was very nice and helpful. I just wish they used dishes and cutlery that can be washed and reused instead of using plastic.

Went here very skeptical because I am not vegan. But was pleasantly surprised the food was extremely flavorful. I had the 9 bean stew (which only had 5 beans) a little insider with staff, seasoned sweet potatoes, carrots cake was really good as well.

Delicious and wholesome. It’s the kind of food that someone who cares about you would make for you: it tastes amazing but is also sustaining and nourishing. Favorites were the jerk tofu (!!!), sweet potatoes, and plantains, but pretty much everything was great. The Beyond patty was also a nice treat. Portions are generous. We’re just visiting the area for the night but we’re definitely coming again the next time we’re in CT.

Best vegan food I have had in the New Haven area. The curry potatoes, jerk tofu and cabbage are my favorite thus far, but I have enjoyed everything I have tried. The large combo can feed 2 people and is only $15. I also bought plates for my non-vegan parents and they rated the meal a 10/10! Will be returning often!

The food is fantastic. The sizes generous. Post covid there is still no indoor seating. Part of the experience was eating inside and listening to all the conscious people. Minus that it is fantastic. Curb side only. Still miss visiting the staff and also understand them protecting their family.

All vegan. Delicious mac n cheese, other sides and tofu dishes. Rock cake cookies were tasty too. It’s small and music was fun.

Very clean, friendly staff but the music was so loud we couldn’t hear our staff.

The best vegan food and my favorite restaurant in town. The jerk tofu is incredible, the Mac and cheese is to die for, the greens are savory and delicious. The chickpeas are saucy and delightful. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like. This is a true gem of new haven and I can’t speak any more highly of it.
